Hey everyone,

I took Vilma's advice and changed the name of our check-in. I liked your suggestions, Vilma. We'll have to remember Summer Heat for August!

I was away over the weekend, in Ocean City, MD. We had a good time, but I feel like I caught a cold or bug down there. Yesterday, I was very, very achy, with no other real symptoms. Today, that's gone, but I'm congested and feel wiped out. So, I've had no workouts since Thursday, or maybe Wednesday (I can't remember!).

Vilma, it sounds like you're recovering well; I'm glad. Sabine, I hope you're feeling better. I think I told you before that I had also recently received the Slim Series. I haven't tried any yet. If I feel up to it tomorrow I will.

Well, I missed the first day of the presale, being away. I preordered the whole shebang this morning, after seeing Sabine's post from yesterday. I was a little mad at my self afterward though...I've really been charging a lot lately, and it probably wouldn't have made much difference in the ultimate delivery time if I had waited until the end of the week, when I would have been in the next billing cycle. Oh well. I haven't ever order P90X. I'm thinking now I won't, since Cathe's coming out with this, and I've preordered. I'm thankful for the large discount she's giving us, with the preorder.

Oh well, I hope everyone's well. Elizabeth, it was good to "see" your post from yesterday. CinDee, it sounds like your preparation for the big ride is going well. Hello to everyone else!

Lisa it was good to *see* you again! I'm glad you had a wonderful time at the shore with your family. I'm sorry about the bug you caught- I can certainly empathize as I was going to do BC yesterday but I was feeling too tired to do it and today I woke up feeling achey and feverish (again, the body knows, right?). It can be frustrating can't it- when you're ready to w/o you're not up to it. But we'll get back on the w/o wagon soon enough- get some rest, OK? :)

I too ordered the whole shebang or enchilada:p and please don't feel mad at yourself- you work hard, take care of your family and this is something for YOU. Hopwever, I don't think it would be a problem for you to cancel it and reorder later this week if that works better for you. Take care!

Cindee- I second what Lisa said- good job on your training for your bike ride. We're all here rootin' for ya'! (Go Cindee, Go!!...:7 )

Sabine- hope you're on the mend! I saw that you preordered the whole hardcore series as well- it's exciting, isn't it? I was wondering if you have the summer off or do the kids there also have year-round school as we do here? Either way, I know you're a busy lady!

Vilma- did you get to do MIS? if so, how did it go? You were in such good shape before the surgery that I'm sure it'll help you recuperate quickly and get back to working out.

Pinky- we're thinking of ya', girl! I'm sending you a big hug and many good thoughts.

I just thought I would fit better with the current season to just change it up a bit.

I did MIS yesterday but I was slow to start, I'm not sure if it was the heat ...my kids kept opening up my back door and leaving it open while I was doing my workout and the heat just came in http://www.vilmasrealm.com/images/28.gif

I kept having to tell them to shut the door so many times.

I did go lighter than normal and I was a bit bothered by it but not much as I only went down by 5 # but still, it hurt my ego just a bit.

I just finished IMAX 1 a while ago and I did it with no problems http://www.vilmasrealm.com/images/29.gif , this time I refused to have my kids go in and out plus I used an extra fan, along with having the a/c on and ceiling fan on. It is HOT over here!

Tommorrow I plan on doing BootCamp . I'm basically following Cathe's July rotation.


Thanks Lisa , I'm feeling so much better after being held back for 2 weeks I was going a bit bonkers, and I swear my body was starting to get soft. I did notice that while doing MIS yesterday that it was bothering my surgery site a wee bit so I had to go down on weights and not go all out. So sorry your feeling a bit yucky but could it be a bit of dyhydration due to being on the beach, if anything keep drinking tons of water until it makes you sick http://www.vilmasrealm.com/images/30.gif that's what tend to do.

Lisa- Excellent job on renaming the check in. Thanks for taking the initiative. Sorry to hear that you're not 100% (I can relatex( ).

Today I did cardio and did CIA 2304 Rock Steady Step w/ Seasun Z. Did pretty good with the choreography and only got tired right toward the end (it's a solid 50+ minutes of intense step). I'm not sure if tomorrow will be another Slim Series or something Cathe, like Supersets or Muscle Endurance. I'm not following a rotation this month. I've got it in my head to do 3 weight days and 3 cardio days and to add in yoga/stretching along the way. Hopefully I'll get refocused for August and start a more structured rotation.

Elizabeth- I'm 'off' for the summer so I'm not seeing kids or anything. I am in a program to get my Pupil Personnel Services credential and am in summer school taking classes to get this done hopefully by the end of this year. I'm REALLY hoping that this is it as far as schooling, etc., and that I can get on with my 'career' and to move forward to new and exciting things.

Great job w/ IMAX Vilma! This one is deceptively tough IMO.

I'm glad to see so many of us preordering the new series. Who knows, when it arrives in a few months maybe we can all do a rotation together. What titles are you most looking forward to? I'm intrigued by Low Max, Core Max, and the gym style weight workouts the most.

I kind of feel bad taking the credit for the new name--it was Vilma's idea! I just implemented it. For the record, if we go with Summer Heat next month, that's Vilma's also.

By the way Vilma, you go girl! Doing IMAX anytime is an accomplishment. You really rock. Also, I really like all the animation in your post today, and you may be right about the dehydration. I usually drink about 90 oz of water a day, and I was drinking only a fraction of that this weekend.

Sabine, I think I'm most interested in the workouts you mentioned. I could use an intense low impact cardio workout, and I really like all of the core workouts out now, although, of course, I haven't tried the one in P90X.

Hi everyone!
great new name.
This summer while enjoying summer sports I am trying to fit in some good intense workouts, without over exercising.

Monday was a tennis match during in AM and in the PM I just did floorwork from PLB on the stability ball twice through. I added a #10 dumbell to my abdomen during the glute work. This is challenging.

Tuesday was Bootcamp everything but core, then 18 holes of golf on a hilly course~ walking.

Today (wed) will be cardio choice, abs and a good stretch. I will start after I drive my daughter to her practice this morning.

Thurs will be either ME or PH

Friday will be cardio choice
Sat ?

Hello to everyone. I see many of you have preordered the new series. I am waiting to see about the premix option. I am strongly in favor if it.
