sugar free chocolate chips?

Cathlete
Can someone please tell me what stores carry sugar free chocolate chip morsels. I'd like to bake some cookies for a special friend tomorrow!

Thanks,
Delphene

Not in time for tomorrow, but for future reference: You can sometimes substitute raw cacao nibs (which are just cocoa beans broken into pieces: nothing added). Since there is no sweetener at all added to them, they are best mixed with something that has sweetness of it's own (like cookie batter).

You can most easily find them at online raw-food vendors:

Delphene,

I am not sure what local grocery stores carry it in your area. I know the ones where I am have slowly stopped selling them. I know this won't help you with this batch but maybe the next. I order mine now from perfectlysweet.com. You can also check the health food stores to see if maybe they have something you could use. They tend to carry chocolate that is sweetened with other sweeteners besides sugar.

Thanks ladies! You were both very helpful with the added information!

Ps

My health store use to carry carbsmart chocolate chips and unfortunatly they were not in demand for a re- order ;-(
