Hi,

Want to hear from anyone who has been succesful in concieving at age 35-40 without medication. How long did it take you etc....

Thanks!

Hi, I had my first son when I was 37, and second when I was 40. It wasn't hard for me to get pregnant, but it took me five pregnancies to get 2 kids. It was hard for me to stay pregnant. I read in a magazine just yesterday that full fat milk might help fertility. Sorry, I have no more advice than that, but I wish you luck!

I had my first baby at 35 and just had my second at 38. The first baby took 5 months to conceive and the second took 2. I am very fortunate and had no problems with either pregnancy. I would highly recommend reading "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler. It teaches you how to tell when you are ovulating. Make sure you take a multivitamin each day with folic acid. I have heard that drinking green tea can help with fertility too. There is a website called Fertility Friend where you can track your cycles and get lots of information from other women trying to conceive-very helpful!

Good Luck!

I had first DD at 34, scond at 36. It took me about 9 months to conceive, only 2 months though after charting temps. It took me about 4 months to conceive DD #2. Both my pregnancies were healthy and exercised throughout . I too strongly recommend the book taking charge of your fertility. For me the problem wasn't that I wasn't ovulating but wrong timing of marital relations. I figured out through charting that I conceived DD #1 on day 28 of my cycle! Good luck.

Had my first at 36, my second at almost 38 (close to 39). Took about 4 months to conceive the first; 2 or 3 for the second. I didn't really "try" (tracking my cycles, etc.); just didn't "not try," if you know what I mean.

No other pregnancies or attempts, and no problems carrying those two. Hope this info is helpful.

Good luck!
