Actually, I do not think High Step Challenge is similar enough in style to be compared to Body Max. Body Max has an extended straight-up step cardio routine followed by a step-power-circuit segment, then followed by a fairly traditional upper-body weightlifting segment then abs. High Step Challenge is more of a total-body circuit workout with very brief cardio blasts sprinkled throughout.
This is not to say HSC isn't a good workout. It's just not a similar workout to Body Max.
