Sub for bent over rows?

Hi all,
I've had some back issues, and have discovered that bent over rows are really exacerbating the problem for me.
In the last week, I've subbed these out for sitting and using a doubled up band wrapped around my feet to row, but I know I'm not getting the same benefits as using heavy weight.

Any suggestions for how to really hit the lats without these?

One arm rows are good, you can support yourself on a bench or the high step.

I can relate to back problems, dealt with that myself a few years back. Hope you feel better soon!

Hi - Can you do one arm rows without aggravating your back? The kind where you place on knee and one hand on a bench for support. That'll hit you're lats the same way.

Another good exercise for the lats is pull-ups, if you have the equipment. All kinds will hit the lats - assisted with a chair or band, negatives, regular, beginner.

HTH :)
