Good Afternoon Girls. :)

Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

I did P90X back n biceps today. Awesome work out!:D

And I have some nice chest DOMS from the GS I did y'day which Katie so nicely pointed out on FB to me was NOT a part of the LIS/STS rotation...the wise guy that she is! LOL :D:p;)

Making a new recipe tonight. It's chinese food. Never tried to make Chinese before....could be scarey! :eek: I'll report back tmrw! :p

Hi ladies!!

Saturday's workout was 4DS:HIS cardio + DTP shoulders + yoga max premix. Today's workout was Butts & Guts. Ouch! My shoulders feel like lead and my lower body is burning. And I'm a happy camper. :p

Wendy: hehehehe!! I don't get on FB very often, but I did yesterday and the first thing I saw was "Wendy completed Gym Styles". I was like, WTH?? ;) I deserve a butt kicking for my smarty pants comment I know, but I just couldn't help myself! :D Oh and thanks for starting this week's thread. I was going to check-in earlier but I gave "new thread" phobia! :)
 
Oh, let us know how the Chinese recipe turns out! DH loves Chinese food but I rarely make it because I only have a few decent recipes.
 
Good morning All!!

I'm having trouble with my home computer so I can only check in while I'm at work. Saturday's workout was HIIT 25, Sunday's was Cardio Strength in the afternoon & 45 minutes on my bike that evening. I had my grand daughter this weekend, which is always fun, we went shopping Saturday & went to church Sunday. We had an activity at church after service, she had a ball.

I have strayed from my rotation, I am going to have to print it, so I can follow it at home when my computer doesn't cooperate.

No work out for me today. Rest day! My entire upper body hurts so it's just as well! :eek:

Hi ladies!

I'm enjoying my first active recovery week of this STS cycle so this morning I did SJP warmup and step + Yoga Relax. I don't think i'll ever truly enjoy yoga...I kept staring at the clock this morning. But, I know it is good for me so i'm going to try and incorporate yoga during each recovery week.

Wendy: Enjoy your rest day!! I'm definitely going to check out the recipe you posted.

Wiggie: I hate when my computer acts up. Frustrating!! Great workouts this past weekend. Glad to hear you had a good time with your granddaughter too! :)
 
P.S. Wendy have you tried this recipe? Thai Chicken and Pineapple Stir Fry | Skinnytaste It's one of my favs (but I also LOVE pineapple). :)

No I haven't Katie but I have drooled over it more then once! :p I'll have to give it a go! TY for the recommendation! :) Enjoy the recovery even if you don't enjoy the yoga! LOL I have one more week of the rotation to go, starting tmrw and then I am on my first recovery. I am going to try both of Cathe's yogas and I also want to do Core Syn from the X that week. I've decided against trying any of the w/o's from my new X-Train set yet. I am really enjoying this rotation but still don't need that temptation right now!:eek:

Hey gang

My grandmother passed away this weekend in Buffalo, my husband and daughter are with me at my parents home. I am checking in from my iPhone.

I took a cycling class at the local Y this morning- not the same as my spinning class in Mystic, but it got the job done.

My grandma was 93, lived in a nursing home, and was comfortable And died with her family at her side. We celebrate her life, and the legacy she left behind. It is good to be home again. She is in heaven with God.

Hi ladies!

Today's workout was 4DS:KB (cardio only) + 5/8 (again) of STS Extended Stretch. I keep running out of time, lol! Next time i'm going to start the extended stretch in the middle so I can actually get to the end. :p

Bridget: I'm so sorry to hear about your grandmother. I'm glad she was surrounded by family and friends. (((((HUGS))))

Wendy: Now Ms. Wendy, we are going to have to have a little talk if I don't get a workout report tomorrow. ;) :p

Good Morning!

Yes, Wiggie! I DID work out last night! I did TBTS Upper Body as per the rotation last night!:D

Then this morning I did GS Legs in lieu of STS D17 Legs. I didn't have time for ALL of it so I did all of the standing work and inner thighs only of the floor work. All I can say is :eek::eek::eek:! I reached puke status at one point and my legs are still shakey! I am going to be DYING tmrw!!!!!!!!:eek::eek::eek: Not to mention that the DOMS from last night's work out hasn't set in yet b/c I did the work out at night instead of in the morning. OY VEY...I am in trouble! I may as well call in DEAD tmrw from NOW! LOL :p

Great job with Afterburn Wiggie! I have that one coming up this week as well! What's on tap for today? How goes the push up challenge? :)

Hi Wendy!! Good job on your workouts, I sure hope you can walk tomorrow!! :p

I plan to do Athletic Training today & chase it with 20 - 30 minutes on my bike. I weighed in this morning & lost 2 more pounds. I wish I could be this focused without going to the meetings. Oh well, I guess I could just say I do well on maintaining by myself.

I haven't done my pushups for the week yet, I'm slacking off!! I'll make sure I do them tonight. There is a sit up challenge, but I don't like full situps, I might do the bicycle instead.
 
Wiggie:: How'd AT go? That's on my schedule for tmrw morning! Wow-they have challenges for everything huh? :eek: I don't mind doing some full sit up exercises but only do them when they are written into a work out that way. If I am doing abs on my own I never do them. Don't forget those push ups! ;):p

Good morning All!! :D

I ended up doing High Reps yesterday. Yes, I strayed once again!! :eek: I felt like I needed to do weights.

I just ordered More Cardio Strength a new one by Michelle Dozois & ordered Cardio Strength( her old one) for my daughter. We did that one Sunday & she said she liked it so I'm surprising her with it. I also ordered Short & Sweet by Mindy Mylrea which is a spinning dvd.

Good....afternoon?? Wow, i'm late today!

I didn't get to check-in yesterday. I was in court from 8:30 am until 3:30 pm (straight, no lunch). By the time I got back to the office and eat it was time to go home. Woohoo! Guess it isn't a big deal that I didn't check-in because I didn't have anything to report. Since i'm enjoying my active recovery week I decided to take an extra day off this week. :)

Today's workout, though, was 4DS:LIS + a short yoga practice from Kate Potter. Felt great!

Wendy: Nice job sneaking in TBTUB on Tuesday evening and completing Disc 17 yesterday! I sure do love the leg workouts in Meso 2. I can't believe you did AT with a sore lower body. :eek: :eek: :eek: I'm such a baby. :rolleyes: :eek:

Wiggie: YAY on the weight loss! That's great! Awesome workouts this week. I can't wait to hear what you think about your new workouts. I can't buy any new workouts for a few more months (dang budget) so i'm going to live vicariously through you. ;)
