Hello All!!

Well, I survived LIC, so fun, such a thigh burner!! Haven't decided what to do today hmmn, maybe I'll join you Wendy & do Tabata Inferno, haven't done that one in a while!

Katie, I love step aerobics too!! Cake pops are adorable!! I'm not much of a baker, but I might try to make them for my granddaughter.

Welcome back, Terina!:)

Hi Terina! Missed you but we understand! Life gets crazy and sometimes you just can't get here! As long as you are working out still then we can't be upset with you! ;):D

That sounds like an awesome idea, Wiggie! Go for it! :) Would you agree with what I said to Katie about Tabata Inferno and Zuzana/BR having a lot in common? :D

Hi ladies -

Thank you all for your sympathy with my loss of my sweet dog (Taz) - I really appreciate that. Not everyone understands, but our sweet boy was like our child, it's been just very sad and quiet around here.

I have been making myself workout these past few days. I did Imax 2 on Saturday, S&G Sunday, 4DS KB Monday, PUB Tuesday and PLB on Wednesday. Today is a rest day - or may do YM or YR - we'll see. The exercise cheers me up some, it's soothing to see Cathe's smiling face (even though she's inflicting pain, still soothing  ) I've also been walking our other dog more than usual, trying to keep him moving too - it's amazing how much he relied on Taz.

Sounds like you all have been getting in some great workouts. I still need to do some catch up reading, but at least a start with personals.

Hi Wendy - Tabata Inferno?!? sounds intense!

Hi Kiki - sorry you're not enjoying your recovery week:( Hope the migraine gets better soon. Great job on the Cycle Max premix, that's a great calorie burn in that amount of time!

Hi Erin - that sounds like a very frustrating day at the gym :(

Hi Bridget - sorry your daughter is sick, hope she's better soon!

Hi Terina - welcome back, great job with your workouts!

Hi Wiggie - great job with LIC, that one kicked my butt - I don't know when I'll be up for it again, I just couldn't keep up with the choreo, but I did love the leg blast.

Hi Katie- great job on Plyo Legs! I hear you with those one leg squat thrusts - not pretty here!

Talk to you all later,

Kris

Missed you guys yesterday- DD rebounds quickly from illness and was back to school in no time. I on the other hand developed a urinary tract infection and had to go to the clinic where I work on my day off to have my pee dipped and get an antibiotic- I had been feeling tired, achy before my... err... symptoms and did alot of emotional snacking yesterday- better now. (ok, TMI!!!)

WW weigh in- stayed the same, again, wasn't feeling well at the time. WW is different now, and my daily point value was decreased from 29 to 26 per day. I will probably need to use the Weekly points that I had't been using before to make up for it.

Missed spinning yesterday too- but I've signed up for tomorrow- hope to be at the other end of this

Kris- There is real evidence that vigorous exercise- the kind that gets your heart rate up- is more effective than antidepressants in increasing you serotonin levels. (I tell my patients this as well, especially when they are depressed and out of shape) So you are right on when you say it cheers you up- and there are no pesky side effects either.

Wiggie- LIC I'm assuming is low impact challenge- vs low impact circuit (which I save for weaker days). I want to be able to defeat that one- that is master those moves- especially the ones where you have your back to the TV...and yes, I am the acid rock goddess of spinning- something wrong with me listening to loud Pink Floyd at 5am and sweating hard...

Terena- great workouts- I love AT & IMAX2- haven't done slide & glide yet, need to add that one to my Dec rotation.

Katie- I'm with Wendy when I say, What??? you are voluntarily doing plyo legs when you aren't doing a STS rotation?? I have memories of those one legged squat thrust thingies make me lose bladder control- not good.

Wendy- Tabata? Not sure what that is, but I'm sure it isn't easy!

Kiki- spinning gets my HR up higher and longer than anything else- it requires little coordination or talent, I can really push it without worrying about tripping, landing badly or running into furniture- and has improved my endurance on other Cathe cardio workouts. And, I get an incredible rush from it- enjoy, let us know how it works out for you!!

Good night all!

Bridget

great workout today

Checking in with 4day split-kickbox and legs. I last did this workout in march and I have improved since on my weight selection.I couldn't believe how light my choices were on my weight selection back then.My legs are still shaky from today...lol

Thank you ladies for the "welcome backs:D"

Bridget-you will love slide & glide, especially the core workout:eek: Glad to hear you are feeling better, take care.

Kris-Im so sorry to hear about your dog. I totally understand how they can become family members.:(

Wendy-thank you! funny how crazy and busy life gets here, rite now hubby is napping with dougie that is why i'm able to check in...

Wiggie- I like LIC because the steps are easy to learn and not so dancy. I remember tryin to learn Rhythmic step it took me a long time

Good morning All!!

Thursday’s workout was Tabata Inferno, and I agree with you Wendy it does remind me of BR!!

Kris, you’ve managed to get some great workouts in!! I love complex choreography, I take it as a direct challenge & won’t stop until I get it!! I also love the blasts at the end!

Katie, I’m planning on doing Plyo Legs & Squat Rack during Meso 3. I don’t even try the one leg squat thrust, two legs are hard enough for me with all the other leg work!!

Bridget, yes I’m talking about Low Impact Challenge. Glad DD & you are feeling better!! I don’t go to meetings, but I still follow WW. I am allowed 29 points, I wonder if I need to change to 26.

Terina. I love going back to a workout & finding out it’s not as hard as it used to be, great way to measure your progress!!

Hi Kiki, hope your back is better!!:)

TGIF Ladies!:D

So I did S90 Shoulders and Arms as per the rotation and OH.MY.FREAKIN.GAWD.!!!!!!!!! KILLER! KILLER KILLER! Puke status KILLER! WOW! I LOVED it!!!!!;):D:eek:

Oh and I should also mention that I have pretty intense and unexpected DOMS in my upper/inner thighs from TI y'day!!!!

Kris:: Sorry about your dog. :( I lost a dog and it was sooo hard but time heals. It really does so hang in there. I am sure your other dog feels it. They know when something's not right, when a family member is missing and they feel the loss just as much as we do. He/she will be better in time too though. Hugs to all!!!!

Bridget:: Way to make WW work for you. Yeah, IDK what's up with the point reduction but I don't like it! :p Ofcourse over the holidays when we tend to eat more it may not be a bad thing! LOL

Terina:: I love 4DS kb and that leg work out is killer! Great job doing it and increasing in weights too! Woot! :D

Wiggie:: Good job with TI! Glad you agree with my assessment. Didn't want to give Katie the wrong idea! :)

Ok, that's all for now. BBL or tmrw!

wiggle I almost bought those...let me know how they workout! How many did u buy? I put it in my cart and i was buying it and looked it was close to 100 bucks! But when i think about it i woud be able to not have to buy 25lb db with them! Let me know if its a worth while investment!
bridget I had a nasty uti recently i had to drive to a drug store at 3am to get some meds because i was soooo misrable. As a nurse i feel like I am more prone to them since we never take a pee break during out 12hr shifts! lol feel better soon=)
Terina/B] Glad too see you great job on the work outs!!!
kris I am a animal lover so i understand. So glad Cathe has been able to help:cool:
Hi everyone else i missed wendykiki:D
Soory i have not been around but just like eveyone so busy around here. I have done the last 2 work outs in meso two and hope to finish back and bi tomorow!!!! Then its a rest week and i will hopefully be doing lots of yoga. other wise both kids have been sick with one thing or another! Both currently have ear infections and I am still trying to get over the lower GI virus they gave me lol
Well the good news about the virus is that i lost a couple of pounds lol I am down to 135..3lbs more to go to goal. Thats where i was when i got prego with lo. I FEEl good and am happy with my losses and look forward to what happens when i go from STS to P90x!!!!=) But today is hubby bday and we have a christmass party. So I am really looking forward to some dress up fun adult time:cool: I am goonna try to go to dinner before the party with hubby for a nice meal. My eats are not great btw not eating cause of the virus and now just holiday stuff. But come Sunday I am back at filling my body with only good stuff:eek: Hope everyone has a great weekend!

It's the weekend, woohoo! :p

Today's workout was Terminator: Viper. Cathe kicked. my. butt!! I somehow found the strength to add on abs from C&W (I love that ab routine). It wasn't pretty, but I did it! :D

Wendy: Hahaha, yeah I have a slight obsession with Plyo Legs  so I try to add it in 1-2 times per month even though i'm not doing a STS rotation at the moment. I think it's the thought that i'm working legs but still getting an awesome cardio workout that keeps me reaching for pylo legs. I'm edging ever so closer to "fitness insanity" aren't I? :p Well, my S90 deal didn't pan out as planned because, apparently, BB&B doesn't let you use coupons online (WTH???). I'm going to run to the actual store on Monday after work; fingers crossed they have it and at the same price! And after your review of Shoulders and Arms, now i'm REALLY nervous (and excited) to get it! :p

Terina: Welcome back! We've missed ya around here, but completely understand how busy life can get. Fantastic workouts. Yay for increasing your weights! That's awesome! Keep up the great work!

Wiggie: YAY i'm so glad you received your pace weights! Let us know what you think! I've been dying to get a set too, but that isn't going to happen for awhile, so i'm going to live vicariously through you. :p ;)

Erin: Great job finishing up Meso 2! Congrats on the weight loss! That's fantastic. I hope your DH has an awesome birthday. And enjoy the Christmas party!

Bridget: Awww, sorry you're not feeling well. I HATE UTIs!! I used to get them several times a year, but now I drink so much water my system is like a water slide...completely flushed out. :D :p

Kris: Wow, I love your workout selection! Those ALL rock. :) I agree that Cathe is soothing (in a weird, pain-inflicted way). ;) I'm sorry about Taz. :( Very sad.

Hi Kiki!

Have a great sunday!!!!

Y'days' w/o was S90 Legs with three (4) min intervals of jump rope inserted-at the beginning, middle and end of the work out.
