STS Body Rockers- Merry Christmas Week!

Hi ladies,

Well, Monday was a rest day for me, then Tuesday was Intensity Series Boot Camp cardio premix, Wednesday was S&G Cardio premix and a stretch max in the evening, and today was 4DS Lower Intensity Step cardio premix (I'm the Premix queen this week - realized after I wrote that out how many premixes vs complete workouts I've managed :eek::confused:)

Sounds like you all have been getting in some great workouts!

I did plyo legs yesterday. I love those...but i was on no sleep from my little man! So my energy was kinda on the low side:( But I truck on=) I sent hubby to the gym with cycle max...we now have a challenge to do it together at the gym and see if he can make it.lol I am off for a long 12 hr shift and food is packed. For xmas i got very expensive chochlate and it needs to leave this house!!!!!!!!! uggh other than that been pretty goood=)have a good one ladies.:cool:
 
Good morning All!!:)

Thursday's workouts were disc 29 & disc 32, 2 plyos back to back. No, I'm not crazy:p, I needed to catch up in meso 3. I couldn't jump on the 1 legged squat thrust, I just stood up.

Wendy, I got my sandbag yesterday so this evening I am going to attempt the break free workout, wish me luck!!:D

Terina, what eating plan are you on?

This morning I did what I had wanted to do YESTERDAY morning but couldn't coz of my dumb tummy monkeys!:mad:

Excellent work out! Whooped my butt GOOD! I can't do the NINJA part of the tuck jumps in the first exercise so I did a deep weighted squat with my sandbag instead and went into the jump tuck from a weight free squat position after putting the sandbag down. It worked well! Not sure if you understood my description though. :p

Wiggie:: Last night's Break Free was a great work out! Let me know what you think of it and the sandbag!!! I like the sandbag but do need to do something because the weights from my vest as they are do not work well in the bag. They are small so there is too much room for them to move around. I think I will buy 2 medium filler bags and try to put a couple of the vest weights in each of them and then put it in the shell so that there is less shifting. Worst case scenario is I just go buy sand. After popping for the filler bags and the ridiculous shipping cost of them :eek: , spending a few bucks on sand won't be a big deal...:rolleyes:

Erin:: Chocolate is good! If it needs to leave the house then eat it and it will be gone! ;) Good job with PL despite being so tired!!!

Kris:: Hey, that's what premixes are made for IMO. Aside from mixing it up, they are great for when you are short on time! Great job!

Bridget:: You love to spin?? No Way! I never would have guessed! ;):p:D

Wendy, glad you're feeling better!! The sandbag & fillers are very well made, very tough material, but for a hundred bucks it better be!!!:p
 
Good morning STS Body Rocking friends!

I haven't done a Cathe video in weeks- but the tree is now down, most of the Christmas decorations have been put away, and I decided to give Athletic Training a try using my new Apple TV. It worked well streaming my download from my laptop.

This is only the second time doing it, and my upper body has suffered from all the lack of weight training - I was hurting half way through the workout, and considered skipping ahead to the cool down- but I muddled through it and finished.

As much as I love to spin, I think I need to get back to focusing on upper body and overall weight training again. I start TRX classes on Tuesday mornings at the Y- will give you all the updates on those once they start- that should help with the strength training.

Thank God I did work out- we went out to breakfast this morning, and I indulged in Challah bread french toast- yum!

Happy New Year!!!!!

My last workout of 2011 was Drill Max. I first did this workout about this time last year and barely survived! I had to take several breaks. Today I kicked butt! The workout was still hard, but I could do it without modifying. Woohoo!

I hope you all have a safe, happy, healthy new year!! BBT for personals. :)

Thrusday and Friday were DOR for me,Yesterday all day I was exremly tired:eek: it was really weird but today I feel great!!

Katie-my daughter does the exact same thing to me when im working out,she just feels the need to ALWAYS talk to me. It drives me nutz!!! good going on drill max thats a tough one.

Bridget-what is TRX classes? So awesome you completed Athletic Training,the 1st 20 min on the step is killa!!

Friday's workout was an oldie but goodie, Hardcore Kickbox Circuit w/Guillermo Gomez & Janis Saffell, not really difficult but I've always enjoyed it. Today's(Sat) was Fire 55 EZ this am & disc 33 this afternoon.

I just wanted to wish everyone a great holiday, be safe!!
