strengthening exercises w/out weights

Hello, Cathe! I'm spending the semester studying in London, England and don't have access to weights. I brought a green bungy chord thing with me, but I'm really getting bored with it and not sure I'm making the most efficient use of my time.

What exercises would you recommend without weights, to make sure I stay toned until I come home April 20. I am also running 4 days a week.

Hi Spunky! Once you have trained with weights, it is hard to match those gains with a band. Some exercises will be challenging with the band (such as a few rotator cuff exercises)but not enough for overall training.

Try doing push ups, squats and lunges. On your squats and lunges, fill a backpack up with heavy books to add some resisitance. Do ab work too, planks and traditional crunches. Also do dips off the end of a coffee table with your legs raised up on a chair in front of you.
