strecth marks

I HAD A BABY ABOUT 2YEARS AGO(2nd child)AND MY STRECTH MARKS ARE REALLY BAD. MY STRECTH MARKS ARE ONLY ON MY TUMMY. THEY GO UP TO MY BELLE BUTTON. I HAVE RECENTLY VISITED A SKIN AND VEIN CENTER TO SEE HOW THEY COULD IMPROVE THE STRECTH MARKS. THEY TOLD ME ABOUT A PROCEDURE CALLED DERMA-ABRASION. THIS PROCEDURE IS SURPOSE TO REMOVE OR LIGHTEN LETS SAY THE STRECTH MARKS BY 50-75%.
I WAS JUST WOUNDERING IF ANYONE HAS HEARD OF THIS PROCEDURE, AND IF THIS PROCEDURE WAS SUCCESFUL OR NOT. IN ADDITION, I AM THINKING ABOUT HAVING A CHEMICAL PEEL DONE IF THE DERMABRASION DOESN'T WORK. MY STRECTH MARKS ARE REALLY DEEP. I AM VERY SMALL PERSON, SO ALL MY STRECTH MARKS ENDED UP ONLY ON MY TUMMY.

I WOULD APPRECIATE ANY ANSWERS, OR SHARED STORIES.

Hi, I had dermabrasion done on my face. I had very severe scars from chicken pox as a baby. Some of my scars went completely through the skin, so the dermabrasion lessened them but could not get rid of them completely. Check with your doctor to see if these will rid you of marks or just lessen their severity.
