Strapless Heart Rate Monitor

I saw the thread a while back about HR monitors; however, I did not see any posts regarding strapless HR monitors.

Does anyone have a strapless HR monitor they would recommend?

A number of years ago I bought a New Balance (I think) watch type HRM..in a nutshell.....it sucked! It was $70ish. It rarely worked properly, didn't give me ANY useful information and basically sat on the shelf. In Sept I bought the Polar FT 4 and I've been having fun with it. It cost about the same too! I would like to know if anyone has had good luck with a strapless type HRM. Maybe the one I bought was a fluke but it was horrible. Perhaps technology has improved for this type and there are better ones out there. Good luck....and def shop around!

I have had no luck wiht the strapless kind either. I always go back to Polar.
