stomach cramp/pain from cardio

i am in good shape and workout 6 days a week, but lately when i do high impact cardio ( like last night i tried doing max intensity cardio) my stomach cramps up so bad on the left side that i can't continue on. when i stop it goes away and when i start it comes right back again. i have never had this problem before. does anyone know what causes this? certain foods, too much water? it is very frustrating.
 
working out to quickly after eating or drinking to much causes side stiches for me when i run. i always wait 30 minutes to an hour.
 
I'm no expert, . .but not enough water actually gives me leg cramps not side stiches, . . .but everyone is different.
