Hello many other instructors out there who loves Cathe,
I took a long break from teaching step. It's been about a year and half to be exact and I'm wondering now if the guidelines for teaching step has changed a lot as far as warm up goes.
I was taught not to actually use step in warm up part. If you do, do very basic moves and combine with floor moves. Repeaters, jacks etc. were considered high-intensity moves and were recommended to be used in the main part.
As you can see, Cathe uses step, actually there's hardly any floor moves in her warm up part (which I personally like it better that way) So what's the guideline for warm up now? I'm pretty sure it all depends on who you're certified with but... just wondering....
