Step, Jump and Pump

Happy Monday :)

Okay, just noticed all the VHS’s for Sale. I'm thinking about ordering Step, Jump and Pump. What do you guys think about this workout? Would you consider this to be a total body w/o.

I have ‘Kick Max’ I ordered it, maybe a few months ago and haven’t done the workout yet, duh! But, guess what, I’m going to do it tonight. I did MIS UB this morning and it felted so good. I finally got my act together. Now, I wake up at 5am every morning, without a alarm clock to do my w/o. I love the quiet time NO phone, NO interruptions its great.

i have only done the fittv version which leave out the step and some upper body work. i know the weight sections are only 5mins. long and there are not that many of them. i would only get this on dvd b/c it comes with step blast and i also like hi/lo combos and the only weight segment i like are the lunges b/c its a full minutes killer.

If I were you, I would spend the dough and get the dvd with Step Blast on it too....SOOOO many more options! :)

I have this on DVD and would have to agree that it is better to have this one on DVD because of all the premixes. I have alot of Cathe workouts on VHS and don't mind VHS as a general rule, but with this workout I find that I use the premixes more. There's a 90 minute all workout that combines the cardio workouts of both Step Blast and S,J,&P; there's a weight and step premix (leaves out the hi/lo) that I also love.

If I was going to get a VHS for circuit, I'd personally go with Circuit Max instead, or BodyMax, or probably any of the other circuit workouts over SJP on VHS.

I was able to view SJ&P and its kind of Ifie, don’t think I’m going to order it. Somehow, I missed or just over looked Kick Punch & Crunch, that one is on sale to. So, you got it, I’m going to order it, always wanted it, I'm bad }( Eventually, I’m going to convert to DVD’s but, not yet. Don’t ask me why, guess I'm just ole school, altho I do have a serveral workouts on DVD.

I’m going to call my order(s) shortly. If I don’t have to pay an additional charge for Step Blast I’m going to order that one too! Thank you ALL so very much.

Step Jump and Pump is one that I did buy for $10 as I figured I can try it and if I like it, I can buy the DVD eventually.
 
Step Blast & KPC are on the way, YAY! Now I'm looking to buy Push Pull and Supersets that’s it for VHS, I hope ;-) I only had to pay for 1 shipping charge, which was okay by me :eek: :D

I really need to save my pennies for HSC, i gotta have that one. Maybe Friday, I'll order all three and be done, huh! Okay, Kick a&$ tonight, opps! I meant Kick Max :p Have a great evening all.

I really like this one but minus the step portion. I usually combine this with MIC hi/low. To be honest, having the dvd is a better investment if you like to mix up your workouts. But, you may love it as is. Have fun!
 
I just go the Body Blast DVD's last week, and have to say that I DO like this workout...Though I use VERY light weights (3-5's) and don't count this as one of my weight days...I think this one only targets the major muscle groups and isn't quite as heavy as some of her other DVD's...I OD like it for variety, and yes....I LOVE the hi/lo sections! The pre-mixes on DVD are GREAT!

Re: SJ&P -- I have the DVD and agree with everybody else about the usefulness of the DVD versus the VHS. It's only a bargain if it's something you'll use, right? And I think you'd use the DVD a lot more. The premixes on this one are especially important to me because I am not a hi/lo fan. So on SJ&P, I love the step, love the pump, not so much the jump. ;-)

Yep, I am officially a true Cathe addict:) just like old times. I woke up this morning at 4:30am just thinking about my workout, couldn’t fall back to sleep to save me life.

Guys, let me tell ya bout Kick Max, omg I did it last night, and all I could say was OMG. The workout is ‘AWESOME’ when I finished the workout last night. My legs, Glutes, Abs 'everything' was feeling it. I could hardly walk :) let lone make my way to the tube, I was shaking so.

After, I whine down, I started thinking about which workout I was going to do the next day and I couldn’t even decide on a workout for today, I was so sore. So, this morning, I just hopped on me treadmill and did an hour jog which was very relaxing.

I’m going to follow up tonight with MIS LB and I found an oldie but goodie in my collection. BB Great Abs, don’t know if you guys remember it, it’s a seven min Ab routine, and it is know joke. I’m going to do two rounds before attemping legs :p and call it a night. Cathe is a animal, really. she’s the best! :p :) Go Cathe, go Cathe go go go Cathe. I love her!

I use to workout with the Firm years back before a friend introduced me to Cathe and I have been in love with that gal ever since. No one and I mean NO one can touch her.

Strange tho, when I’m doing her workouts she knows what to say at the right times, as tho, she is there with me in the flesh. For instance, she may say, (That its or keep your head up, don’t lean forward etc...etc...you guys know what I mean, right! ;)

Any ways, Kick Max is the ‘BOMB’ I made a good choice! Okay, enough for now, back to work. Have a great day all, ttys.

I did the step portion of SJP this morning - and forgot how much I enjoyed it... I really love the music - especially with the DVD and the Music Louder option... The whole BB series is great so you can't go wrong getting any of them...

I have been to scared to do Kick Max - not sure why. I love kickboxing and I Turbo Jam reguarly - I even had it down to do tonight - but think I am switching to Low Max.... But maybe after your post I will Kick Max it... :)
 
Anna, GO FOR IT, it is truly the BOMB! great and challenging workout. And, scared to do Kick Max, come on now x( :) you won’t be sorry, you did it. I put it on my schedule again to do this week.

My other Kickboxing favorite it Cardio Kicks, man oh man I love this workout. Please do tell when you do this workout. Have Fun because it is fun!!!
