Stationary Bike Suggestions?

Hi!

I am nursing an ankle injury and it got me started thinking that I should have at least one day of no impact exercise. I would love to get a stationary bike for home so I don't have to go to the gym for a 30 min bike ride. Does anyone have any suggestions or one that they love? Thanks!!

What DH and I use is not a stationary bike, but a sort of stand for your street bike. It has a wheel thingy that provides adjustable resistance.
It's a CycleOps Super Magneto Pro Bike Trainer. If you have a bike, I recommend checking it out as an alternative to a stationary bike. One big plus is that you can fit it in a closet when it is not in use. We tend to store ours once the weather gets good (unless someone has an injury).
Good luck

Hi Jen,

I have one from NordicTrac and also used it for an ankle problem. I get a good sweat
going with workouts that came with it or from icycles. Another great feature is that it
is ifit compatible. It was decently priced as well. :)

I do have a bike trainer but it isn't even close to being hard enough to simulate hills etc.
I have it up for sale.... ;)

Good luck in your search!
