Just finished reading the book. WOW!!! I've got work to do. I was always confused with the classifications of carbs. Now I really understand it.

Questions:

Where did you guys buy your calipers at?

How hard is this thing to use and get an accurate reading? (That's my biggest fear).

Not sure if I'm considered a beginner or intermediate (what do you thing?)
Lost 40 lbs on WW 6 years ago (gained about 10 lbs this last 2 years)
Worked out at gym for 2-3 years then at home with Cathe (faithfully)
Have not exercised or eaten right in the last 5 months (at least).
Need to lose about 15-20 lbs (not sure was my body fat % is yet).

Can Egg Beaters be used on this plan? ( I thought I'd seen it listed)

Thanks,
Kimbra

I eat egg beaters every day because i prefer the taste over egg whites.

I bought my digital caliper at www.heartratemonitorsusa.com I bought the Fat Track Gold and I think it is for $25.99 when everywhere else it is $50. http://www.heartratemonitorsusa.com...easure-Fat-Calipers/Accu-fat-trackII-new.html

Now, you cannot expect a 100% accurate reading of your body fat. However, the caliper is the most accurate "at home over the counter" method available. I have the caliper, Omron hand held and a body fat scale (that you stand on) and the reading are all very close.

Be consistant with the conditions under which you perform your test, ie. time of day, day of the week, fluid intake, food intake, etc. and your readings should be fine.

Thanks for the link Sarah. I ordered the Fat Track Gold. So once I go to the grocery store and get food I'll be ready for Monday.

P.S. Looked at my original post - I need to spell check my posts . :)
