Good morning ladies!!

My workout was IMAX3 blast only premix then Butts and Guts -- OWW!!

Off to shower then find something to occupy Collin til naptime!

Katie great w/o today. Did you use the medicine ball for the blast?

I fixed my toilet y-day and told my landlady (my cousin Irene) that the parts cost $2.45 and my labor was $85 :D She LOL That is the one good thing that came out of owning my own house...I can fix little things

My w/o today was powerwalk (indoors), K-bell and Amy k-bell core.
I loved using the k-bell but it will take practice to get down the technique
I only used one size for the whole w/o (10#). It was like a cardio/circuit w/o b/c my HR was elevated.

b-french toast (I use the white for me)
l-left over shrimp and rice
d-talapia and rice

I taking the kids to the movies today. I hope I don't get lost.

Colleen sorry about the HR problem I use to work with people like that. They thing the more people they get on their sides the better off they will be.

hi guys - may i join this checkin? i am off all weight bearing exercise for at least 4 weeks due to a fractured 3rd metatarsal:( i am going crazy as i am a complete workout junkie - i normally run 50-60 miles a week and do weights plus step 1 or 2 days a week. yesterday i swam for the first time and hope to do that 5 times a week along with upper body work and floor work until i get the clear for low impact. i usually hvae a clean diet, but i eat a lot to keep up with my workouts and nursing my 5 month old. in the ast week i have been off from exercise, i have kept my diet squeaky clean, but mainly from depression, i think. so, i could use the support and accountability to eat well and in small amounts. i am not only upset about all the muscle loss i will have, but i do not want to gain weight! not sure if that is possiblethough.

sorry for the long ramble. anyways, so far breakfast was a few nuts, some fiber 1 cereal and cottage cheese, and an apple. sounds like a lot, but i could have eaten more:( urg. that is my problem:)
 
Good morning!

I didn't work out until 3:00 yesterday afternoon. Then I got my haircut. It still needs color, though. Stupid grays:( And then I went out with two of my girlfriends for a couple of drinks. Today I need to do a total body workout and abs. I'm thinking Push/Pull-short but tough if I go heavy enough. We're dropping the girls off at my parents' house this afternoon for the night. And I need to get a baby shower gift for tomorrow-maybe I can get Darrin to go with me, too.

Robin, what movie are you going to see? I saw HSM 3 with my two older girls a few weeks ago. It was cute.

Welcome Morris! How did you fractured your foot? I usually try to eat a high protein snack in between meals. That keeps me going until I see a brownie:rolleyes:. My suggestion, if you could is to keep up the upper bod w/o and stretch you lower body this way you won't lose too much muscle. I remember in HS I tored my knee liagment and I still have less muscle in my right thigh vs left but my calfs are the same size.

Push/pull is a great w/o b/c you can go heavy or light. I'm not sure what we will see but we are taking the girls so I think it's the movie with Queen Latifah in it.....bees

Hey Morris, and welcome!! I have broken my 5th metatarsal TWICE -- be sure it heals properly, or it will be prone to breaking easily again! Great idea with the swimming! Sorry to hear about your depression, I can totally relate. But your plan sounds good -- swimming, ub work, floor work, and clean eating. I hope you find some ideas and encouragement that you need!
 
Hi Everyone!

I feel like it is still morning even though it is 1:00. I had to pick up Chris from the airport and his plane did not land until 1:50 am this morning. We did not get to bed until 3, so we got up late and I have felt behind all day. Good thing I did not have a lot planned for this weekend.

Katie, great workout today. I rarely do the blast only premix for the Imaxes but I should.

Morris, sorry about the depression but it may be the result of not having your exercise endorphins. Hang in there and welcome to the group.

Eats are tidy...:confused: I can button a Size 6 skirt...tho the little flab roll peekin' out over the top pi$$es me off!!!:mad: Motivation to keep the eatin' clean I suppose.

The movie The Secret Life of Bees was so good. I wished that I had read the book before seeing the movie b/c I have the book and I'm not motivated to read it.:rolleyes:

I have major DOMS in my gluts, thighs and shoulders from that K-bell w/o. The only problem is that I only used Cathe 6# k-bell...when will I be able to use my new 15# k-bell.:confused:

katie, please tell me aabout your fractured foot - how did it happen? how long were you on crutches? how long until you could walk or bike or do an elliptical?

kate, nice to see you here - yeah with the weight loss!!

klaudia, i am keep ing up on protein and really really thinking about what i eat. i love fruits and veggies, but i may have to keep down my fruit intake as i eat it a lot!

trixie, i hope you get some rest.

this am i did bm2 double upper body (minus abs)and coremax #3. i will swim later. i miss my am cardio:( eats are clean so far - an egg and egg white, tiny bit of cereal (fiber 1), and some fruit. you all are so good at planning meals ahead of time. i cannot seem to do that, though tonight's dinner will be lots of veggies, soup, and some tuna.
