Yesterday eats were great - til we opened a bag of dk choc MMs. OMW.... Love em.

Not sure what I'm eatin' yet - fridge is BARE! Prob will get grocs today....

Morning all,

Accidentally slept until 11:45! Shoot! I was up until 2-ish and then when Ryan left for work Ellie came in our bed and was tossing and turning for a while and then we both fell back to sleep and the first time I opened my eyes again was 11:45. The girls are still sleeping. I need to go get them up! UGH. I hate jet lag. Tomorrow I will have to set an alarm for sure. I had no idea I'd sleep this late.

Katie, did you choose 40/20? I need to try that one. Maybe today.

Kate, your day sounds more relaxing than yesterday. I think it's so fun that you wo with your sisters! I would love to do that. It would be way more motivating than doing it myself. I loved the pic you posted on fb yday!

Klaudia, I totally think you should do the STS rotation. I'd be doing it for sure if I had STS. Am I the only one that doesn't have it? :(

Clintoya, I totally hear you about living in my yoga pants. I can always tell when I've gained a few lbs! My jeans stay in my closet. I just bought a pair of Paige denim when we were home and now I have to keep my weight steady to make them worth it!

Colleen, I can always count on you to do the right thing even if you don't feel like it - you're so consistent!

Anne, did you book the cruise?!?!

my calf still is not up for running, but i did plyo max insanity this am and it felt totally fine. i am anxious for my dr appt tomorrow. yday was a good wo of cardio intervals, pub, and abs. more family time today - dh is off all week. he has horrific jet lag as japan was 14hrs ahead. once he recovers, i can get some time to myself:D haircut on tap later this week too. eats were oh so clean yday, hope today is too. bbiab, and sorry for not catching up from yday.

Morning again! I did 40/20 and then a 20 minute steady-state jog on the TM. Will do abs tonight - maybe med ball from STS?

My weight is going down s-l-o-w-l-y but I am feeling leaner. YAY!

BUT - I made a "too much chocolate" cake last night and frosted it with peanut butter frosting for a co-worker's birthday today. I am VERY torn about whether to have a piece. Not sure if I want to.... We will see.....

katie, def do 40/20! i am living vicariouslythrough al of you. i think my knee would just go on strike if i even attempted those.

i was previewing athletic step the other day and that is one i think i could actually modifyand still get an intense workout. what d y'all think?

power on the workout schedule today. my back has been a little achy since sunday and im wondering if i should stay at my recently increased weight level or go back to my old wt just for back and legmoves like deadlifts.

the dentist was not as horrible as i thought, he fixed the tooth that cracked relatively painlessly but i do have to go again next week to deal with the two cavities. blech.
 
Nina! YAY for DH being home! That's so great! I feel his jet lag pain! What happened to your calf? Hope it's better soon! Here are the JEANS I got. I have started shopping premium denim at Nordstrom and it's SOOO nice. It's just super expensive. My MIL bought me a pair of COH jeans 2 years ago and then this is the first pair I purchased for myself. It is probably a once a year (if not less) thing.

So, I decided to weigh myself this morning to see the vacation damage. Somehow it says I didn't gain any weight at all. I don't know if that's actually possible but I'll take it for now. :)

Can you say DOMS?! Yowza! Thank goodness for cardio! Gonna try one of the SC today-not sure which one yet. Busy morning-Nevena has school and I have to get to the Secretary of State to renew my license/tabs and then go to Kohl's and the post office. Dance tonight. Darrin's been out since 7:30 yesterday morning and won't be home for another hour:( Poor guy.

I completed disappointed myself !

Halfway into 30/30 I just had nothing left to give ! I literally was gasping and feeling like I was going to get sick. I half-heartedly attempted a few more of the exercises but mostly at that point I checked out !!:(:(:(

I felt like I tried exercising after 6 months off and picked something way too advanced.
I'm not sure what the problem was.......yesterday's workout I felt strong !

But I'm sure that can't even count as a workout.......I WILL add on core but do you think I count this as a rest day , or do a different cardo (maybe bike?) later in the day ??

Good Morning Everyone!

I am sore this morning. I need to stretch tonight especially my shoulders or I won't make it through back and bi's tomorrow. This morning I did 30/30 Hiit and Bodyrock.tv 300 rep workout. I can't do pullups so I attempted a pullup for that exercise and it was hard. I will do pilates abs tonight since Chris had an early appt this am so I needed to either shower a little early or a little late.

Becky, sorry about the workout. Are you coming down with something? I had that happen over the summer and I ended up in bed after my shower. If you feel better then try light cardio.
Angie, I wish I always did the right thing. I really try but put some chocolate in front me and it is all over. Love the jeans. I always say I am going to buy good jeans but I can never justify the expense.
Klaudia, a C&T retreat this summer sounds like fun! ^5 on the DOMS!
Kate, dark chocolate M&M's are so tempting. I ate a ton of them at Cmas. I hope you got rid of the bag.

Katie, I hate office parties because it is awkward if you refuse cake especially when you make it. I would have a sliver just so that no one thinks it is poisoned :-D
Wendy, yeah for sleeping in. I would try to stay at your current weight but maybe add more stretching for those achy muscles.

Hey girls, been a slow day here. I'm not feeling super well. Can't really pinpoint it but it's just that sluggish, body not up to par feeling. Going to rest one more day. Don't think I'd be able to get through a WO. Just too tired.

I created a rotation with endurance/full body/circuit workouts in place of the first STS meso for the next month for me starting on Monday. Should be good enough to get me going again. Then month two I plan to do GS and Pyramids. Then month three I will do S&H and 4DS. When would PS fit in?

Klaudia, YAY for DOMS and your plan sounds like a good one. I would love to do a C&T reunion but I'm guessing it will have to wait until I move back unless y'all want to do it in France! :)

Colleen, great WO! Have you ever tried on nice jeans? To me, they make such a difference. I can't have a closet full but I'd like a few nice pair!

Kate, I hear you about the scale. I go through phases but for the most part, it's good for me to know because it keeps me on target.

Errands done-except for Kohl's (I'll go solo on Thursday:)) Clean, but huge lunch-2 bowls of turkey chili. No snacks this afternoon. Going down in a bit to workout. Thinking I need the HiiT-I'm looking way too fluffy!:(

Wow, I can't believe it's after lunch already. Anyway, I did it AGAIN! Two days down, three more to go. I got up and did Disc 2 of STS this morning. I totally forgot about the chinups/pullsups and have no way to even simulate them, so I just watched. :eek: Bad, I know, but my goal with this rotation is to get back into shape and back into the exercise habit. The next time I tackle STS I'll really do it up right. I think I went a little light on a few exercises, but not too bad. It was much more do-able than I thought it would be. We'll see if I say that about the leg work out...

Kate, how long did J sleep?

Angie, try doing a search in the Video & DVD forum--I distinctly remember someone came up with which existing work outs correspond to the 3 STS mesocycles. And you're right on track with that, but if you want specifics, try there. If I have time, I'll see if I can find it for you.

Clintonya, I love salty snacks. I can go days and days without sugar, but a day without tortilla chips? I don't think so. You're working hard, though, so don't worry about it too much, k?

Colleen, great work out this morning! Did you CC get straightened out?

Becky, everybody has an off day once in a while. I would just chalk it up to poor sleep or something and start again tomorrow. Missing 1/2 a cardio work out will not impede your progress, trust me. ;) It's all about the journey, right?

Klaudia, glad to hear you have DOMS! So do I. Did Darrin get any sleep when he got home? It's clear here today, so you should be okay for a while. What work out are you doing today?

Okay, the only cabins left on the cruise are pretty pricey--probably out of my range. But, my friend said I might be able to find a cabin that needs a roommate because of a last minute cancellation by somebody. She told me she did that last year, just roomed with strangers, and it was great. They've become good friends and will all be on the cruise again this year. So, I'll give it a whirl. If that doesn't work, I'm going to see if I can visit a friend in LA that week or the following week. I need a getaway!

Kate, I am already dreaming of Fl. Can’t come soon enough. Which part of Fl are you visiting? We are going to Orlando/Kissimmee from Jun 3 -10, then stopping at the beach in Palm Coast for the rest of the weekend.

Colleen, hope you can get that stretch in tonight. I will be joining you, my upper body is feeling pretty tight, but so far not too sore.

Angie, sorry, you aren’t feeling well. Sounds like you had a really busy 3 weeks. I would probably need quite a few days to recover and feel back to normal. If I can ever get to where I need to be, I want to treat myself with those jeans – would be a great feeling to get into a small sized pair and be COMFORTABLE :D

Anne, great job on doing the morning wo again! Thanks, I will try to remember today is another day and keep going forward! Hope the cruise works out, but if not LA sounds great too!
