Good Morning Everyone,
PInky-I am glad to hear that you are sleeping.I can't imagine having sleeping problems.I fall asleep at the drop of a hat.Its crazy.But I love it.I almost missed my little one today.When I got up she was getting dressed for school and already had her breakfast.
I didn't get a chance to check in yesterday b/c I was so busy.I worked both jobs and I never stopped! I thought I was going to be really tired when I got off but I wasn't to bad.
I also got for a 14 kms run yesterday.The day before I did 1/2 of PH and boy,were my legs ever sore yesterday,and today!
Today is going to be a run in the evening.I may take the dog for a walk now and do the rest of PH.
Anyway,I hope everyone as a good day.I will check back laterm

Good morning ladies,

Hi Lori, two jobs, a 14-km run, half of PH... VERY impressive. I'd love to have your energy (don't I always say that?:) ) and your ability to sleep right away.

Susan, you asked yesterday if I plant vegetables. I wish. Texas soil is too clayish, and to plant the things I love, I'd need to replace about two feet of topsoil with potting soil. We have a big backyard. I can't afford to do that. So I work on the flowerbed and treebed and some large pots on our front yard. I plant mostly flowers and plants with showy, colorful foliage. Now, if only I had my mom's green thumb, but try as I might, I usually end up killing my plants. That's why I choose those hardy, native, low-maintenance Texas plants that can withstand drought and extreme heat. That means, I don't have much to choose from when it comes to plant varieties.

Talking of gardening... I might not be able to work out today because last night's heavy thunderstorm uprooted what I just planted yesterday afternoon. That means more work for me. And gardening takes forever...

Yesterday I did PUB chest and back only then ab work from ME and PUB. I still can't do the last 4 pikes on the ball. My wrists get me all the time. I used 12s, 15s and 17.5s for flyes and 45/50/55 BB for presses. I also went heavier than Cathe on pullovers -- 15/20/25 -- so today I'm sore, and the rest of PUB will have to wait 'til tomorrow. If I get to work out today I'll be doing cardio.

Hi everyone,

Yesterday got away from me and I wasn't able to check in. So, here's what I've been up to workout wise the past couple of days.

Thursday- Christi's Totally Hot Cardio. In the evening did Evening Stress Release Yoga program 2.
Friday- Pyramid Up Total Body Workout. REALLY liked this combo/premix. Will definitely be doing this one again.

One of my students gave me a teacher appreciation gift yesterday. I was so touched because I am not a true teacher per se. It was just so nice!!!

Pinky, I have some containers on my patio that I try to keep with bright flowers and such. I'm not much of green thumb so I am still learning and manage to kill a fair amount of plants along the way. But I do love how it looks when it's going well.

Hope everyone has a terrific Memorial Day weekend. I am staying in town and am just going to be doing things around the house to slowly get ready for my trip. So I'll be around and may do a weekend edition and see who else is around.
 
Hey, everyone,

Just a quick check-in. I'm feeling much better today, and Michael has had no headache or just a mild one for the last few days. I'm getting antsy now. I want to try some form of exercise, but I'm going to wait until at least tomorrow, and then it will probably just be stretching. On Sunday, I'll try to go a little further, and so on.

Sabine, I really enjoy that Christi Taylor workout. That was the first of hers that I ever bought. I also like doing the Pyramid full body premix.

Well, I've previewed one of the beg/int DVDs, and started on the advanced. Both look good. Actually, the advanced looked pretty tough in spots (one-armed one-legged tricep dips!). I may try one of the beg/int workouts this next week. Like I said, for me at least, these couldn't have come at a better time!

Lori, way to go! That is one thing that i just can't do is run. I don't know why, I can do Cathe just fine, but to get myself to run, yeah, no. So, good for you!:)
Well, yesterday, I did KPC cardio conditioning premix, and MIS upper body. My chest and back are good and sore today, as you can emagine!
Today, I'll probably do some form of Cardio, maybe Christy Taylor Still Jumpin'. It's not very intense, but with being as sore as I feel, I don't think that I would make it through something very intense anyway.
I figure another couple of weeks and I should start getting strawberries! My flowers are coming up nicely too. I only plant annuals, they are the easiest for me to keep alive. Plus I only have to buy them once.:) Oh, but i am trying my hand at a rose bush, if I can keep it alive this year I may go get another next, we'll see. I love roses, so I hope that i can keep it alive.

I checked in late last night as yesterday was quite busy for me, too. I'm feeling PUB from two days ago more than I did yesterday...anybody else get the 2DOMS? Today will probably be nothing since the fam and a couple of friends are coming over and we're BBQ-ing carne asada (yum!). I've been cleaning and preparing for that...we only got a half day of school in so the boys are going to have to make up the other half this weekend or Monday. Hopefully this weekend DH and I will get in a longer bike ride if the weather holds. If not, Spinervals Have Mercy will be the workout. It's 90 minutes and a fry-er. I've got to fit in PLB somewhere, too, so I'm not out of balance. Whew! Maybe if everyone doesn't stay too late tonight I can lift.

Have a great weekend everyone! We'll be getting together with friends which is always a blast.

I've have been reading sll posts this week and everyone sounds positive.:) Nice to read!
Cathe's may rotation is going well. The addition of HIIT before strething days has been nice. My muscles are really warm and ready to stretch after HIIT.
Today begins week 3. However, I am on my way to golf and will walk 18-holes of a Very Hilly course so I'll skip Body Max or do only upper body later.
Yesterday we bought our flowers and are hoping to get them planted this weekend too. I see some of you are doing the same.
OK, everyone good wishes to all, and enjoy the weekend!
