Splitting a workout

I want to use one of your old rotations (Aug 04) and have a question. When you have "Legs & Glutes, plus 20 min run", does the run have to be immediately after L&G or can it be later in the day? I realize that by doing it immediately after, I'll probably minimize DOMS plus I'll be building on what I've just completed, but I don't always have the time to do a long workout in the morning. And I know that if I put it off until later in the day, the workout will probably not happen.

Would it be okay to split the workout - do L&G in the am and do the run in the pm? Or, since my goal is lower body sculpting and fat loss, will I lose a lot of the benefit by splitting the workout?
 
Hi Gym Mom! You can do it later in the day but if this is the case be sure to add a 10 minute warm up to the front of that 20 minute run. Don't forget to stretch at the end either. Enjoy!
