Speaking of Chocolate

Okay this is pretty evil, and so I'll put a disclaimer here, DIET SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!!


If you like chocolate, ouch, but if you like M&M's you may need to reach for the tissues now in order to stauch the drool!

I just figured, if I have to know then everyone else has to know too. I was looking at the Sunday circular for a local grocery store and they had "Mega M&M's" on sale this week. So I think to myself, "Mega? What does that mean? And how soon can I possibly make it to the store?"
I went to M&M's website and, yes, it's true. Plain and Peanut, 55% bigger in new "earthy toned" colors. Here's the link for those who dare:

Remember the Shrek sized M&M's? I think these are along the same lines. The fact that I couldn't find those anymore is the only reason my pants still fit! LOL!

Diet spoiler indeed, Mattea.:eek: And it's that "bad time" for me, too.;) :)

I LOVE the colors though. Great for decorating. Would make a nice centerpiece for the dessert table.

OK Mattea, what store are they at? I REALLY shouldn't buy them but this weekend it's my turn to take the treats when we go see Charlie and The Chocolate Factory. Usually I take healthy pop popcorn but for this movoe they will kill me if I don't take chocolate! All I can hope is they don't have them here in Denver area yet:) I just got rid of the starwars m&m's from my freezer not to long ago. This one will require great dicsipline on my part!

Now those really do sound good. Luckly for me, I can put them in the bowl on my desk and everyone else will eat them. But M&Ms are one of my favorites. I wonder how many more calories these bigger M&Ms are...

I saw them in ad for Tops Markets, but I think they are local to Upstate NY/PA area. Try looking through a couple of circulars or even calling around. Bigger grocery stores and drugstores (like Walgreens) are probably your best bet, or worst if you think about it;-)

I've been remembering these from the Shrek kind all day. Oh please, I hope they are like the Shrek kind. The peanut were my favorite, I mean I wouldn't turn down the plain, but something about the HUGE size of the peanut just did something to the chocoholic inside:7

Yes, Pinky, I also really like the colors--unusual and appetizing, but they definitely go with more decors than electric orange and blue!

Now if only they'd combine the dark chocolate from the Star Wars with the Perfectly Bigness of these! With a peanut inside they'd almost be like vitamins!

LOL.... Mattea... when it comes to chocolate, we can talk ourselves into about anything can't we?.... I do want some of those for my treat this coming week. It will be a week tomorrow since I had anything sweet, so it'll soon be treat time.
 
I saw those in the store the other day...I walked right by them, didn't even want to go there...LOL!

Those look pretty nifty. I'll make sure to get the peanut ones, so I can have some protein with the carbs...

Shelley, you're not alone I don't like them a whole lot. I tell you what my weakness was at the beach, was a chocolate milkshake from the Sonic. OMG it was the best thing I've ever tasted. But tomorrow I am going to be a good girl and say goodbye to that sort of food for a while.

Well if these don't shake your tree Shelley I made my DH some peanut butter cookies tonight...;-) Which I don't even like, but they smelled and looked so good I actually ate one}( And it was actually worth it!
Sorry, no clean eating tips here, full fat and sugar kind, but, well they were vegan--does that count? No cholesterol...
