Sometimes its not worth it to follow a trend

Everybody seems to be jumping on the Paleo Diet bandwagon these days including myself.

I thought I would give it a try starting last week. However, I just can't bring myself to eat beef, pork and chicken anymore. For some reason, it just doesn't taste good to me anymore in addition to the cost.

I had been using a lot of the quinoa recipes from cookingquinoa.net and really loving them. Am I consuming too many carbs if I focus on dishes that combine quinoa/beans/veggies?

I just started back adding whey protein in my morning shake. Should I add a second shake sometime during the day to get enough protein?
