Please let us know what's going on. I assume you've seen the vet by now. Hope everything is o.k. or at least an easy recovery. Does sound like a stroke, but they can vary in severity.
My dog, Alfie, is fine now. Apparently, the problem is/was peripheral vestibular syndrome. It was a new one to me but the good news is that while some dogs do have relapses most of them do not.
I am so relieved but the experience has really made me think about his mortality and how much I love that crazy dog. Oh well, like my original post mentioned, we know that our pets can't be with us forever. I've had so many pets in my lifetime that I know you love each of them equally, that you appreciate their unique personalities and you have distinct memories of each one forever so they are always with you in that sense.

wonderful news that your Alfie is better now. i'm dreading the day one of my precious cats isn't faring well.
