Mu boyfriend bought me a beautiful necklace which unfortunately broke today  and my kids gave me a beautiful candle and some very pretty cordial glasses. They also helped me in the yard for about 3 hours WITHOUT COMPLAINING!!! It was a lovely Mother's Day...

My son bought me a new battery for my ibook. Practical I know but expensive and I really needed one! He tok me out to dinner for crab enchiladas then we came back to my house and watched the movie Sideways. A great movie by the way. All in all it was nice. Especially since he worked yesterday and that is an hour from me. So I appreciated him making the drive up here to celebrate. He is my only child.

I got a SATC DVD from my 13 yo kid. And a very sweet card. They all are sweet, aren't they? My DH actually sent me tulips in a goergeous green vase on behalf of my dogs & cats. I was so surprised. He never even sends flowers on Valentines or my B-day. Very touching! That's enough to make me happy.

My middle son made me something with string and beads that can be used for several different things: a necklace, bracelet, bookmark, or a keychain. He also decorated a bag for it and put in two hershey kisses and two hershey hugs and made a card that had my name and he used each letter for a word of sweet things about mom. Like S is for smart, A is for awesome. It was so sweet.

My oldest son bought me an amethyst vase and made me a card with things he likes about mom.

My DH bought me concert tickets to see Kenny Chesney, Gretchan Wilson, and Pat Green on June 30th.

Pink, white & yellow. Beea-uitful!

Actually,, Drew could pass for a member of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. I don't usually get flowers delivered because they have to be "perfect" so he will arrange them himself & bring them up to my job himself. Hence, why I was "so surprised" to have them delivered this time. But, I can also vouch for the fact he's not gay.

as a Mothers day present my kids cooked pasta with a tomato sauce which turned into tomato soup with apple sauce (they added it to the tomatoes - interesting taste), with pasta on the side :+ :+ I diplomatically pointed out to them that we have like 50 cookbooks on a shelf in the kitchen, not to mention stacks of cooking magazines :p

We went to Red Lobster and celebrated a few weeks ago. DH also brought home a Hershey's Almond Bar. I was going around the house and asking who wanted a piece! LOL Yeah, I had a piece of it too. LOL
Also, got some jewels for Mother's Day. DH really surprised the heck out of me with that one. Children got me a lovely card and flowers.

I got a beautiful geranium for my garden, a homemade necklace, a beautiful card Sophie made in school, and a gift certificate for the garden centre:)

My DH bought me a beautiful diamond anklet from him & the kids. He also took me out to a nice dinner and bought me a bouquet of lillies(my favorite flower). My mom bought me a George Forman grill.

I took my mother, daughter and her family, and brother an his expectant wife to breakfast Sunday morning.

I received a yard ornament from my daughter and a class picture from my 9 year old granddaughter.

My husband got me a large bunch of lillies, my favorite. My son gave me a candleholder made from a Gerber jar and bits of purple tissue paper. He also gave me a handmade card with his handprints on it.

It was a good thing I was sitting down when I heard or I would have fell down. I did almost drive off the road though since I was taking my kids to school! LOL! I was quite shocked!!
