So glad about the clean eating check-in thread!- Long

You ladies,
For years now I have been trying to do the 6 meals a day. I had that as a guideline but really nothing else. (Besides eat more protein and whole wheat) I however, watched the Bodybuilder lady (don't know her name) that was advertising the Metrix (sp?) meals after How to Get in Shape for your wedding. In the message, she explained why it's better to eat 6 smaller meals and for the first time (to me) how many calories should be included at each meal. 300 was the magic number. And for me it is. I have always had these horrendous cravings around 4:00 p.m. that send me reeling off of my planned eating, and into some horrible binges. But I've done the 300 calories each meal every 3 hours for 2 days and I have not experienced my hunger attack. All this time, I think the problem was that I was not having a large enough snack. I used to have low fat yogurt (60 calories), and I would be hungry within minutes. LOL! I've finally found something that works for me. Now I'll have to wait two weeks to see if eating this many calories will work, while I'm trying to lose weight. I guess I'm just excited, thanks for listening. And now I'm able to keep accountable with you ladies on the clean check in thread. Just maybe I'll go all the way this time.

If you want some completely motivational, excellent information on eating the 5-6 meals per day and what should be incorporated, you should check out the BFFM material. http://www.burnthefat.com/ Not only does it get to the facts on how your body metabolizes and how to up your metabolism - it starts with setting goals and getting motivated. I had never felt such a strong committment to my health and eating like I did after reading this material. It is a e-book that you have to pay for - but it was worth it for me. It made planning the meals and what should be in them SO much easier.
