Slings, Wraps, Pouches, Carriers

Hi,

I have a baby that likes to be held, and I love to carry him, but I need my hands free. I have a baby bjourne that I used to get my colicky first child to sleep. But it hurt my shoulders and back, and I have heard it isn't good for baby's legs. My baby also weighs 6 lbs, so I can't use it until he hits 8 lbs. I bought the Open Tail Sling, but it hurts my one shoulder, and it seems awkward for the baby. Anyone have any recommendations? I am also a petite woman of 5 2, if that makes any difference.

I used the New Native Baby Carrier and loved it. My baby was always quite comfy in it. All fabric, sling style. No annoying buckles, straps, etc. It was very easy getting her in and out of the car seat with it. There are about a half dozen ways you can carry your baby in it but I liked the simple cradle carry (so did my baby!). www.newnativebaby.com.
