Hi everyone,

In a desperate attempt to lose weight, I am considering doing this series. Can anyone either persuade or disuade me from doing so? Would I be just as good (or better off) sticking with a Cathe rotation for 6 weeks?

Thanks,
Amy

Amy: are you already doing Cathe?

I haven't done this series, but I have a friend who has it. She did lose a lot of weight on it (also drastically changed her eating habits), so I asked to see the workouts... I was not really impressed. They were okay, but if you are used to Cathe, you will find them much less complex and interesting. Also, there is little variety. I believe you are also pretty much doing the same workout six days a week.... (you do a beginner's workout for a couple of weeks, an intermediate, then an "advanced").

I was not very impressed, so I lent her KPC/L&G. }( }(

I think anything can work if you stick with it and clean up your diet. But is it fun and motivating, that is the bigger question...

Good luck! Let us know what you decide to do.

Marie

I've "dabbled" with Cathe workouts. I find them very fun and challenging...so maybe I should just set up a Cathe rotation and stick with it. I'm sure you're right about anything working - if you do it... Which has been my biggest problem. I'm turning over a new leaf though - at least trying my butt off...and I've got hubby enlisted to be my buddy. We're on day 3 - good eating and working out (although we did drink too much last night for valentine's and our 1 month anniversary.

I have found Cathe to be the most fun of any workouts I've tried in the past, and they are definatley challenging. I think I will just stick with spending my $$$ on building my Cathe library. I'm sure 6 dedicated weeks with her would give excellend results as well. I'm also trying to recommit to the weight watchers program, so that should help me too!

I'm not familiar with that workout. Maybe if you just did the January and February Cathe rotations, you'd lose some poundage. I lost a few and wasn't even trying. And I even took a week off because of a cold.
