skin care question

Generally speaking, when using new products, how long of a "test" period is necessary before deciding if something is working or not? I started using Serious Skin Care on June 1st and my skin now is breaking out like crazy! Should I assume that it's not working or give it a little longer?

it really depends on the product and Im no familiar with that line but i would say youve been using it for 20 days and youre breaking out like crazy (and you werent before u started using it) - then def stop.

If your skin care regime has alpha-hydroxy fluid in it then it can take longer to see benefits. The alpha's encourage skin turnover but it can takes weeks for the result of clogged pores to hit the skin's surface. You have acne outbreak for a few days but then after the pores are unclogged and clear. Give it a few weeks, if you can stomach it!
