SITC movie!

Just got back from the dr. where I read Kim Catrall finally got over herself & a movie is in the works! For some reason KC thought she should be paid the same amount as SJP, & last I checked SJP's career has certainly been more successful than KC's--the only movie I remember KC in was Porky's!).

Anyway, it's not an HBO movie, it'll be released in cinemas which means I won't see it for a year after it comes out, but I am SO glad they're actually making it! I really loved that show, I think it was the first & possibly only show that made it OK for women to be single & not desperate.

So what do you guys think? Will she marry Big or will Adrian be back?

They way they ended it, it sounded like she was going to be with Mr. Big. But, if they're doing a movie they've got to add some drama so who knows. Didn't Aiden have a baby with someone else anyway? So how come you can't see it when it comes out in theaters?

Aiden, duh, thanks. I think you're right, he got married, but the mag was speculating on his return.

It's not that I CAN'T go to the movies, more like I WON'T. I just refuse to pay $10+ to sit on my rear end in the dark for 2+ hours. I can do that at home for free. ;-)

I might go to the movies if I ever found a date..........ah who the heck am I kidding. I'll never find a date.

I just can't imagine Big being out of the picture since, as hard as she tried, Carrie was unable to get over him. Hopefully in the movie it will be a big suprise!:7

I'm thinking that with out KC, or any of the other three, it just wouldn't be SITC. Perhaps they should all be paid as much as SJP.

Also, this one I would probably pay to go see at the theater, although it would be the matinee.

LOL! I've never seen Porky's, but she was in an aweful movie where she played a mannequin (was that the name of the movie as well?) that came to life, starring with that Brat-packer actor with the weepy eyes who was in "Pretty in Pink."

No one throw stones at me here, please....but I have to laugh, because it's actually "Sex AND the City" not "Sex in the city", therefore it would be "SATC movie" I'm really, honestly not picky like that, I just find it funny

Now, I'm excited for the movie, but I'll probably be waiting for it on DVD. I didn't watch one episode until after the show went off the air so it only makes sense I always wanted her with Big, but I'm not so sure now...

I only know KC from Mannequin as well. I saw the movie on TLC a few years back and was like "Hey...that's Samantha". And her Brat Pack leading man was Andrew McCarthy...I had a huge crush...hey, it was JR. High!

hey, KC also had the honor of playing britney spears' mother in that movie that BS did, i can't remember the name of it. lol.

edited to add that i am really looking forward to the movie, i just hope that it doesn't turn out to be big buildup to a big letdown, as so many of these are.

Even though I really like all of the girls in SATC, I LOVE LOVE LOVE KC's character! I think without that character, the show would be a LOT more dull!

Does anyone know what the movie will actually be about? I just went back to my SJP Elle magazine to see if she said anything and she didn't mention any sort of storyline. I actually thought they wrapped the story up pretty good in the series finale so I'm just worried that this will turn out to be a bad idea.
