Hi Violets!:)

Well, I did good with my food yesterday and intend to be good today...atleast until dinner. It's dinner at MIL's today so I don't know how much opportunity I'll have to behave. Her meals are quite yummy and therefore waaaaaaay unclean!}( ;)

My running class yesterday went well. We did 2.5 mins walk/5 mins run x 4 cyles. It's less than I am capable of but I like taking it slow there and then doing what I am truly capable of on my own. It helps to mix up my runs a bit so that they aren't all tough ones.

I am going to the gym today though I'm not sure what I'll be doing. I want to use the TM but not sure if I should. I'll have to see how it goes...I may get on and see how my knee reacts. It was okay last night...a bit quirky but not HURTING and it feels okay right now. I'm just afraid of it getting bad again, ya know?

Well so far today I've eaten a bowl of oatmeal with some splenda in it, water and coffee. :9

Good Morning Ladies!

Worked last night. It was sooo busy. We have "Back to College" going on and between that and brides and people shopping for bridal showers, it was a zoo. Don't know why I agreed to come in tonight. Probably cause the manager who asked me is always taking care of my scheduling needs, so I figured I could give something back to him.

I ate "clean" yesterday, but I ate no where near what I should have.
I had, raisin bran w/ ff milk, coffee, water, ww rice w/ I can't believe it's not butter, 2 slices of turkey breast, and 1 1/2 hard boiled egg white.

I'm thinking I should eat before I workout this morning. Going to do Lowmax and some abs.

Wendy- try to balance off your meals so eating at MIL's won't really matter. Have fun at the gym. I know what you mean about the knee. I'm going to get my hip xrayed Thurs. and see if that's what's causing the stress.

Heather- glad you're here with us. Good job w/ BC AND getting to bed by 11pm!

Both DS's have ear infections. This has been going on for a week. I have to call today and see if they need to see the DR. They aren't too bad, but they just won't go away. Forgot ear infections come with the new pool package. x(

Going to workout and get started round here.

Just got done w/ Lowmax. I did not think it would ever end. Then I just did abs from Tri's and Bi's.

Finally going to eat now. Gonna have my raisin bran and of course more coffee. Got to boil some eggs too.

Hi girls!

Well, I'm back from the gym and a run to the food store. I'm eating my lunch...turkey & cheese on ww bread with a slather of l/f mayo and some l/f cottage cheese on the side. :9 I had an apple between the gym and the store just to stave off the hunger. I am always famished shortly after a work out!}(

I ended up taking an idea that was brought up in another thread for today's work out. I did the IClimb work out on the treadmill. I changed the incline when the instructor has you change the resistance and I just played with my speed according to the music and how I felt. It was a great work out! It was 40 mins and I ended up going 2.76 miles. I kicked it up to a run 3 times I think but only for about 5 mins a piece. I climbed some KILLER hills! It was a great work out and something I need to do more often to get myself better prepared for the hills in the 5k!}(

Hi everyone.

Yesterday's eating was good for me, but still not completely clean. Late last night I had several bites of my left over quesadillas from the weekend and tried some diet c/f coke. Today I'm on track so far.

Oatmeal
scoop of protein w ff milk
Turkey
apple
potatoes
grilled chicken
carrots

This morning's exercise was 2 miles jogging outside.

Hi guys!
Yesterday was really good right up the part that I ate 1/2 of an M&M's flurry at the IC place. I couldn't just let my kids eat it all!!
Actually, I learned my lesson because my stomach was upset the rest of the evening, so I didn't even eat dinner or snack.
I was pretty hungry this morning, so I had organic Raisin Bran and FF milk. I drink tea like you guys drink coffee, soo...
It is a good thing I ate when I did, because we had a firecall as soon as I finished eating! (I am a FF in case you are like HUH??)
Anyway, lunch time when I got back--turkey and cranberry sauce on WW bread.
Then my WO which wiped me out. I just had a WW bagel with PB.
I am thinking maybe some light soup for dinner, we will see.

It sounds like you guys are doing great!

Kali, I hope your kids get better fast. My Chase was ALWAYS sick from one thing or another when he was in daycare. I missed so much work from him being sick, that I couldn't afford the daycare anymore!
I am really glad to be home now.

Thanks Meg. It sucks when they're hurting. Especially when you have to be missing work! Glad you're home now too.
Sounds like your eating is great today after that mishap last night w/ the flurry! LOL!

Wendy- sounds like a great workout! Think you'll be telling us about some DOMS tomorrow girlfriend! One could only hope right?

Well I ran around all day, had to go for chemicals for the pool and the store. So all I had was my Raisin bran and some organic pasta that was leftover from last week. I know this is not healthy. Tomorrow I don't have to go anywhere so I will try to do better as far as getting my meals in. I'm off to the Beyond in a bit so I've got to get ready. (blech) I'll take some pretzles with me for a snack.

Kali, I have been a FF since I was sixteen, soo, 11 years now. I did take a leave of absence for 4.5 years when I was in the USAF.

Kali, thanks for reminding me that it's back to college. DD will be moving into her first apartment in about 2 weeks. She was in a dorm last year so she is very excited about living in an apartment. It's a 4 bedroom. Each roommate has their own bedroom and own bathroom. I know she is looking forward to the bathroom part. Last year she had one dormmate, but shared a conjoining bathroom with 2 other girls. 4 girls to one bathroom, not a good combination.

Well my eating, went down hill today. I was so proud of myself because I brought my own lunch and did not partake in the drug rep lunch. But when I went to help clean up the lunch, I just had to try the sweet/honey glazed chicken. And then another rep dropped off candy. So here is my eating for the day:

breakfast 1
1/3 cup Old fashion Oatmeal
scoop of protein w/1/2 cup ff milk

breakfast 2
3 oz Turkey
apple

Lunch
5 oz potatoes
4 oz grilled chicken
carrots
Sweet chicken

Snack


dinner
1/2 cup brown rice
4 oz tunafish
1 oz lowfat cheese
and I nibbled on some chips. Wahhhh!

Wendy, glad the Iclimb worked out. I read that thread yesterday and was curious if it would work.

Heather, great job on getting to bed on your set time. I try to be in bed by 10:00 but don't always make it.

Sunnydelight, glad you got in your run. What's on tap for everyone tomorrow?

Has anyone heard from Kathy or Karen lately?

Well, my eating was great until dinner!}( My MIL cooked EVERYTHING in freakin' oil! Fried fish, fried eggplant, potatoes roasted in oil and cavetelli and broccoli which is made with...you guessed it...OIL! There was not ONE morsel of food that wasn't greasy! OMG! It was yummy-I still have a taste for that stuff and always will-but it wasn't healthy or clean AT ALL!:eek: I tried not to eat too much and in fact, I am hungry now so I guess I did a good job! I'm gonna go make myself a small bowl of cereal. :9

Kali, I already had DOMS this morning from Meaner Legs the other day! My bum was flamin' when I woke up! I hope I can walk tomorrow!:eek: LOL :7

Oops! Gotta start over on my smiley faces already--at least it was only 1 day. I did a 3.5 mile run + PS Chest Shoulder and Tri, but I more than made up for my calories with my food consumption. I started ok, but this HUGE chocolate stress craving came over me when I started studying and attending to our finances that we've neglected reviewing since March!

Tomorrow's a new day--at least I exercised!!!
