wendy- girl you are no joke with your racing. have fun!! i know you love that power class at your gym also. that's great.:)

meg- i hope connor feels better soon. i know it's hard when you lack sleepx(

this morning's workout was IMAX3. i need to try to incorporate that workout into my rotations more as i kept having to stop and watch so i can learn the steps.

I am ANTI-IMAX! kidding. I do 1 and 2 occasionally.

Well I had a slight fever all day yesterday so today I opted for All Step. I sweated buckets so I'm hoping it'll knock out whatever it is I'm fighting. Plus TTOM showed up yesterday too. I feel much better so far. I still feel clammy, but at least I'm not COLD too! What a hateful feeling that was.

Well off to get the dudes ready for school!

Shrinking Violets Check-in

Good morning. Well, it is morning anyway. My sleep cycle is still out of sync, and I am averaging 3-4 hours of sleep every night. I pushed myself through Cardio Kicks Monday morning and Circuit Max Tuesday morning. Cardio Kicks was my first Cathe workout, and it is still a fun favorite. Circuit Max still kicks my butt too. I was low on energy yesterday morning, and it was my day for a non-interval step workout. I did Step Fit, which is one of my favorite workouts for days when I am running out of steam.

I did not sleep well again last night. I finally fell asleep around 3:00 a.m. and woke up at 7:00 a.m. feeling exhausted. I am too tired to do anything, so it will be an unplanned rest day unless I have more energy after work.

The good news is that I received a shipping notice for my light box, which is scheduled for delivery next week. My counselor is a big believer in the power of light therapy. I hope it works for me.

I missed y’all and wanted to check-in during my lunch hour yesterday, but I did not have enough energy to outrun Wendy’s whip! ;-)

Heather, I hope you're sleeping patterns get better. I hope you're light therapy helps you. Hang in there.

I feel much better. Did some laundry and changed all the beds this morning. Headed to BonTon. DS has a musical program next week and needs a short sleeve black shirt (which of course we don't have). And I have to return some jeans I bought last week which DH said look too big! :7 So except for feeling bloated, I'm doing much better today.

Hope everyone is well.

Wendy, how was work? I saw that whip yesterday when I logged on and turned right back around! LOLOLOL!

hi everyone. I started this post at lunch, but had to get back to work before I finished. I didn't feel kike working out this morning, but I made myself get up and I did RS because it is one that I know I will do and not make excuses.

Did anyone of you view the clip to Drill Max (link posted on Ask Cathe Thread). Wowza!!!. Also Collage Video has short clips of each video. Can't wait for the whole set.

Wendy, have fun at Power Class. Is is a heavy weight class?

Maeghan, hope your little ones feel better and you get some rest.

Kali, hope you get the rest you need so you don't get sick (especially with closing 2 nights in a row).

Heather, hope you too need to start to get some sleep. Hope your light arrives soon and that it helps.

Sunnydelite, I hear you on needing to do Imax 3 more often. Some parts I like (from hardcore extreme Hi/Low) The other segments I haven't done enough to learn well.

Kim, hope you are having a good week.

I usually forget someone, so I apologize in advance if I did.

Tomorrow I may attempt PUB & PLB so I can catch up on the October rotation. Luckily I only have the FitTv versions so it will only be an hour and 1/2 long instead of 2.

Kali, You chicken! You are afraid of little ol' me!?! :p }( }( }( :7 Work was good...well, you know what I mean! LOL

Jean, The Power class is more endurance based if you ask me...pretty high reps. I don't use heavy weight but definately enough to feel the burn for certain! I barely make it through most of the exercises! I LOVE IT! }(

Unfortunately I ended up skipping Power tonight as I traded up my TM run for a run with a friend in the park. I couldn't do the Power class with it because we were going to be running at that time.

I brought Joey with me tonight so I had my first experience running with a jogging stroller and all I can say is...

OH...MY...GOD! Who's bright idea was it anyway to invent a jogging stroller!? They are pure friggin' evil!!! I ran 2 slooow miles (it took 25 mins ) and thought I was gonna keel over! I guess just like anything else, the more you do it, the more endurance you build up. I really never expected it to be THAT hard though! WOW! }( }( }(

Okay, off to the showers with my stinky self!:p
