Shrinking Violets - Sept 6, 2006

Calling all Shrinking Violets, where are you? It's noon CST and I'm the first one posting. What's up with that?

This morning I got up and did ME. My muscles are stiffening up already. Didn't make it to spin class last night, so I will try again tonight. Hope everyone has a great day.

I did NOT WO yesterday. I was so dang tired last night I sat on the couch with my DH. My DOMS feel better today though. i will DO back and cardio and abs tonight.
Eating has been real good so far.

Where is everyone????????

Meg glad your DOMS are feeling better. Sometimes we need that unscheduled rest day to recover.

I love ME too Jean. And yes it doesn't take long to tighten up after that one! I think that's enough for one day if you don't make it to spin class again! LOL!

I just got done doing 2 miles on the TM. I love it. I work up such a sweat! I did it in 30 1/2 min. I wanted to go longer, but we have to go for BD cake (which I will not have mind you) and wanted to eat and get cleaned up quick.

Eating has been good. Right now I'm having baked zucchini, a boneless skinless chicken tender dredged in egg beaters & skim milk w/ corn meal and whole wheat flour browned in peanut oil and then baked! YUM! And some cottage cheese too. Probably have a few HB egg whites and a slice or 2 of turkey breast before bed.

Working again tomorrow. They needed help so I figured what the hey? It's only 9-1 so I don't mind that at all.

Hey girls,

Where are you? I am checking in late to say hey because I have had no time today for a workout! This week has been really bad for me in exercising and good eating. I either have a headache or dd is running me all over creation! I am afraid of not working out tomorrow since dd has a game. I may try to fit something in before the game. This is really depressing cause my eating sucks! I have got to do something to turn this around! Any suggestions?

One good thing is that the leg workout I did the other day really got my calves sore! I did 150 calf raises in all and I have felt those muscles in a long time. I lost all muscle when I was having problems with my foot and now they are growing back. DH said my calves are getting bigger and that is music to my ears!:)

Help me ladies so I can shrink too!

Whoohoo on the calves Kim! I jumped for joy the first time I really saw my calf muscle! Don't get down on yourself! It will get better once you have a routine going. Are night WO's a possibility? I have been doing that lately. If not, early morning?

I did back and SB tonight! Felt good since I whimped out yesterday and did nothing! My eating was really good today!

Jean- wonder how those muscles will feel in the morning!!:p

Kali- I love my TM too! I feel so accomplished after, knowing how long I went. I just need to get a HRM and see about the calories burned!
