Shrinking Violets, Aug,27

Hey girls,

Where is everyone at? I guess you are out and about.

Today I have already been to the grocery store and then have to go back out for shopping with dd. School shopping never ends! Then I intend on doing Mindy mylrea's step and intervals which has step with intervals for 29 mins. and then some floor aerobic for 23 mins. It is one I drug out yesterday. Will probably start back doing some cathe tomorrow.

Didn't eat too well for bkf, and hopefully get a diet in for rest of day.

Hi Kim! I'm here just hanging out w/ DH and DS's. DH is making turkey stuffed peppers! Mmmm mmm mmmm!! Boys start school Wed. I felt kind of depressed cause summer went by so fast, but after the open house the other day I felt comforted and am actually glad they're going back, and they'll be w/ their friends, and busy again. No more watching tv and playing PS2 all day! Plus I can get back to work and my normal routine.

I did R to the C yesterday. That is a GREAT wo! I don't have doms, but I can feel all the muscles I worked. I have to make up a rotation for myself w/ my 2 Jari wo's and Cathe.

Hi Kim and Kali.

Well I behaved pretty well at dinner last night. Ate salad and fish. My meal was actually pretty nasty...they overcooked the fish. :-( Then we went to see WTC. Good movie but I wasn't compelled to cry the way others said they have.

Today is my rest day and I'm very thankful for that!:p
 
Hi everyone.

Today is a day of rest for me. (I think lately I have more DOR's then workout days) Lower legs are bothering me. Don't know if they are the beginning of shinsplints. Never had them before. Hope not.

Kim, I need to grocery shop desperately. It seems I run in and grab food enough for one dinner and that's it. Too bad I couldn't afford a personal shopper. LOL But the shopper would have to be a planner too and while I'm dreaming let's just make him/her a cook and house keeper and personal assistant. (Yeah, Yeah, I know this day dream is getting a little out of hand, but that's one of my flaws, hence the name dreamyjeanie- some day the name will apply to the shape I'm in or at least I can dream)

Kali, you and the boys will settle back into the school routine quickly and then you will really be wondering where summer went.

Wendy, I too was surprised when we went to see WTC that I didn't cry more. I had really teared up everytime I saw the previews so I brought tons of tissue, but ended up not needing them. The part that got me the most was when the women are in the hospital waiting area waiting for any kind of news.

We saw Invincible yesterday. I thought it was a really good movie.

Hey Wendy,Kali and Jean,

How the heck are you? I just finished my workout with around 35 or so minutes of aerobics. I got the notion to try Hardcore extreme and did the interval circuits. I know now why I never did Imax3 much because it is complicated in the step. I am usually good at choreography, so I am not sure why i don't like this one. I did twenty mins. of that and then switched over to mindy mylrea's floor aerobics and did some of that. I am also rushed cause I have brother coming for supper tonight and need to get things going! I have a mean old pot roast in the crockpot a cooking!:9


I'm headed off to do KPC abs and then I'm threw!:p



Kali-My kids did the same thing this summer. Played xbox,talked on phone and watched tv. I don't know about you but when I was growing up I stayed out all day playing. What is wrong with these kids? Umm we didn't have Xbox, and I wasn't allowed to even talk on the phone. Well I do wish we could of had all of those things.


Wendy-A friend of mine went to go see WTC and she said they didn't show alot of real footage. and that the movie showed on tv was alot better to her. I don't think I will see it anyway.

Jean- I have had those shinsplints before and it really hurts! I got them alot when I wouldn't warm up before jogging. I think the pavement is really hard on them anyway. I hope that your legs get to feeling better! It's good you are listening to your body and resting it when needed!

I did a 3 mile interval run and abs. I went out to eat and had fries and ice cream! Well, atleast I enjoyed them!!
