Shopaholic's bargain tips on maternity clothes

Gap.com has some great deals on maternity wear if you check out their sale on their website. Sweaters for under $10 and lots more. I also went to my local gap outlet and got a ribbed turtleneck for $9.99 less 40% and a wool sweater for about the same. Old navy also has some greatmarkdowns. I find they are cheaper in the store than online though.

I agree with you about the gap bargains and I would also like to say that gap maternity pants fit the best, probably because the are sized rather than small,med, large. I find that I rarely gat a good fit from old navy(too big..too small) I have 3 pairs of gap pants that I just rotate.

Mary, I have way too many maternity clothes now but they do help me feel good about myself. I actually do well with most old navy extra smalls(I am under 5 feet) and am doing well with gap xs and small tops. Their pants unless sized ankle length are to long on me. I just got the wrap around cardigan I ordered last week for $9.99 and the wrap around cardigan I ordered for $9.99 and both look very stylish. They have sold out of alot but they really are the nicest maternity stuff I've seen that is priced moderately.

Small and xs I only wish. I am 6ft tall and need everyting in extra long. Most clothing manuf. think if you are tall you must also be BIG. I to have way too many maternity clothes. My husband does not understand why I spend any money on maternity clothes. He just does not get the fact that even though I am pregnant I dont feel the need to go into hybernation with my regular wardrobe. By the way where do you get maternity workout clothes?

Mary, you must be hiding the preggo weight much easier than me on my 5 foot tall body. I borrowed a few tanks with built in shelf bras from sil they are from old navy . I add in a cheap sports bra. I bought a few at kmart. I got a great pair of stretch pants at marshalls that were belly basics.I haven't invested in workout clothes since I am just in my basement. Mothers in motion makes great workout wear for pregnancy but they are pricey.
