How's your sister doing? I hope she is doing good and was able to get the medication that she needed. Just curious did she lose her hair during chemo? My mother in law is on her 3rd treatment of chemo and no hair loss but she is sorta freaking out about it, . . kinda funny considering that there are other things to worry about but I guess hair is really important to some people. I know everyone is different but I couldn't really find any information on when a person may or may not lose hair during chemo.

Hi Janie!

Thank you so much for asking. She's doing much better. The mega-expensive drug is doing its job and she's been able to have her treatments on schedule. This week will be her sixth of twelve, so halfway there.

She didn't lose her hair this time, with these particular drugs, but she did last time when she was having chemo after her mastectomy from breast cancer. I can't remember when she lost it last time, but I'm pretty sure it happens very quickly.
