Hi Sheila,
I'm approximately 10 1/2 weeks pregnant with twins and I'm wondering what I can and can't be doing. I asked my doctor about it and she gave me the basic walking, swimming, only upper body weight training and prenatal yoga/pilates. I told her I had been working out very intensely until I started having all day sickness (who ever came up with "morning sickness"??). I found out when I was 6 weeks along that I was pregnant, two days later I found out it was twins when I ended up at the ER due to bleeding. The bleeding has long since stopped, but I haven't been able to do much more than walk a mile or so at the park. I'm starting to feel better now, but I definitely don't want to start back into my usual workouts if it will cause more problems.
The information I've gathered from pregnancy/twin websites and articles seems to lean toward less is more. I would really appreciate your feedback on this.
Thanks,
Tricia
