September rotation beginning Monday 9/6

OK, Sept. rotation begins today, with modifications. I have gotten up to running 11 miles total in a week, (That isn't much for some, but I am a newbie to running) Soooo, to keep it going, I will substitute some of the cardio for jogs or interval runs. Today will be an interval run instead of MIC.

Hopefully we will check in regularly like we did during the August rotation. Checking in was motivating, at least for me.

Anyone else interested?

Morning Judy!
I would like to check in but not so sure I will be doing the aug rotation. But like you said,check ins are motivating.Its not that I didn't enjoy the rotation BUT I have a wedding comming up in Oct and my pants suit as spagetti strap,so I would really like to work on my upper body more so then my lower body.
I just finsihed a 14 kms run.We went bright and early.9:30 which is early for me:) And I also went on a empty stomach (minus the coffee that was flopping around) It was one of the best runs I have had in along time.I managed the hills without feeling sick and I think I actually picked up my pace a little.Tonight I may do some upper body work and abs.

Good morning Judy!
Well we are painting the kitchen today and my workout space is right next to it, I am not sure if I'll do MIC or one of the IMAX's as MIC is a bit longer.
Still having my coffee and trying to get moving. With my family home today it really disrupts my routine in a very big way. The hubby went jogging this morning without telling me with our neighbor and I would have really wanted to join them ...I have been inviting him to go run with me but noooooo he went with the neighbor guy. oh well. :(
 
I will join you for September rotation, although I will probably substitute PUB tomorrow for PH.

Hurricane Frances seems to have moved on. I haven't decided whether I want to run between the raindrops or do MIC. I think MIC is going to win as it is still a bit windy here near Orlando. It's quite an adventure living in Florida these days. Really makes you appreciate electricity and water.

Hope everyone is having a good labor day weekend. I intend to now that our power has been restored:7 :7 :7 :7 :7 :7 :7 .

Checking back in.
Candi~ glad to hear you are safe and have your power back. I can't imagine living through the whole hruuicane scenario. I'll take a major blizzard any time instead! LOL

Lori~ keep checking in and doing what ever you need to do. I decided after 5 weeks of August rotation, my legs needed more stretching. Several days during that rotation, they were very tight.
Today after my run, I added Karen Voights Yoga Flow sequence form her Yoga Sculpt DVD. It only takes 25" and really helps my legs to stretch out.
Vilma~! I hope you get your workout in. It can be a challenge when a long weekend breaks up the routine. But hey the variety is pleasant. As for us, my youngest 2 kiddos start school tomorrow, and our high school senior starts next Monday. And, we brought our oldest to Boston last week for her second year of college.
 
Hi Judy , well I finally was able to convince my hubby how much I wanted to use my treadmill so he took it out of its hiding place behind his 2 heavy tool boxes in the garage and I was able to do a moderate to intense run for 40 minutes, after giving it a through cleaning :D. My workout area is cluttered with the kitchen table plus the hubby is listening to the tv while he paints. I just glad I was able to wake this body up after yesterdays rest I felt I needed it to just get me moving again. Now I feel ready to conquer the day :)
 
I wanted to start my first rotation today.Today I have started in a new job with more responsibility and I thought it will be a goog thing : a new job and my first rotation. I am so tired now. I have decided to do MIC tomorrow. As Cathe says I have to listen to my body. :(
 
Can I join the September rotation check-in?

I would like to actually start and complete one of Cathe's rotations. I always start with the best intentions but never seem to finish. I will have to subsitute a few of the videos that I am missing but otherwise hope to follow Cathe's plan. Today I did MIC and am dripping sweat onto the keyboard to prove it. LOL Kim
