Vilma, oh yea, I hear ya' on the kitchen being closed!! I'm 46 (when did that happen?) and I think I'd die! My grandma had my mom when she was 48. Not happening here! What is the Woman's Active pack? Vitamins? Do any/all of you take any kind of vitamins? I don't and thinking maybe I should. Could be why I feel so tired sometimes. I know I don't always eat right.
Ivy, my daughter was excited to go. She was nervous before orientation last week, but I could tell she really liked the teacher. She was asking all weekend when she could go to school. I'm anxious to see how she did today. It's her first long day - almost seven hours is a long time for a 5-year-old. It really was a bittersweet day. Not to get too melodramatic, but so many times we really weren't sure we would see this day. We knew she had heart problems before she was born and were told it was very likely she would have other issues and given the option not to have her. I couldn't even consider that. She had two surgeries and lots of physical and speech therapy. They thought she might be developmentally delayed. Well, there she was today walking into the first day of kindergarten, proving everyone wrong!! It was bittersweet, though, because I know we have to pull her out in two weeks for her surgery and she'll be out a month.
Lori, I know, the school supplies are neverending!! I find it hard to believe my fifth grader will go through 24 pencils this year.
It's still really warm here - in the 90's I think. We've had a relatively cool summer, though. I like the cooler temperatures in the fall for running, there's no way I can run in the heat.
Hottie, I have to echo Beth's rave about cardio coach. Awesome!! It's hard to explain - you have to run to one to get the full effect! You can download them at www.cardiocoach.com.
Better go do some work!...
