Good Morning
I'm off work today!! I missed you guys. Today will either do all of B&G with abs or 4DS legs and GS floor work. Will decide when i get downstairs:)
I went out on Sat. night this bouncer came up to me and felt my arms he said i should stop working out my arms ar bigger then his:( WHATEVER! That hurt my feelings:( But i do get complements most of the time untill that night. It has made me upset:(

Randi re: bouncer - what a meathead apparently the type of man who is not confident in himself to realize your more fit than he is and could probably kick his arse! By making that statement he was probably making himself feel better, I'm sure next time he hit his weights he hit them hard and probably heavier! lol

Don't allow someone else to dictate how you should feel about yourself. You should feel good about your self and how wonderful your body responds to weights.

My attitude is this - 'If I don't sleep with you and if you don't pay my bills I could give two $hits what you think of me and mine.'

to Randi and Vilma!

Not the best morning, I was up a LOT last night, with blood sugars and my youngest son had a fever during the night of 103.5. Poor kiddo! Poor mommo!

Gotta get in an early workout, I have to leave at 10a to get my mom to her surgery consult. If I don't finish ALL of IMAX now, I might try to do Part 2 after I get home this afternoon. I will probably do it without the STEP too, not sure how my toe will like the step thing.

Vilma & Randi: Your workouts sound fanTAStic and challenging! Randi, I agree with V... That bouncer sounded like he was probably afraid YOU would beat HIM up! You challenged his masculinity, is all. Stupid men! Don't worry about that big klunkhead!

Okay, off I go to IMAX land!

Good morning all!

I am unsuccessful in waking up earlier to workout but I'm trying to see if DH will try a morning workout with me we'll see. Last night, I suggested he try 4DS Upper Body premix which he liked very much so he was all excited to try and do a Cathe workout with me in the morning until I reminded him that I wanted to do step (which we can't do together). It was cute.

I'm looking at 4DS Double Cardio as the goal but if I only can get through the LIS section because DH wants to go to work, that's cool.

Randi -- you totally have to laugh off people like that. Make some kind of comment about how small their penis is and they shut up pretty fast.

Vilma -- have fun with the kettlebells! I know how excited you are.

Chris -- I'm sorry about your son. I hope he feels better. Be careful on the toe, but have fun with Imax.

Got done 5 intervals of IMAX! I did do 99% of the step, until I tweaked a muscle in my darn CALF! what the heck? I was being so careful with my toe! You can't win!

Iris: IMAX is not as fun as 2 and 3. But it's a good basic, you don't have to think , powerful interval workout. Lots of plyo moves. SIMPLE step sequences. I like it when I don't feel like thinking, and I want to sweat my buttocks off! Your workout today sounds like a fun one! Did you finish your september rotation or this is the last week?

SOunds like you're getting in some good 4DS workouts. All is good!! The premixes are awesome!! Maybe you can split up your cardio like I will be doing. One in the AM, one in the PM?

Good morning all -- you're all up so early today! Randi, enjoy your day off -- it seems like you're always working! And yeah, what everyone else said about that bouncer -- you look stunning in your little tiny avatar!

Chris, sorry about your awful night! Hope you're able to get some rest in sometime today. And sorry about your calf! What a bummer. You know, I have IMAX scheduled for tomorrow, but the bottom of my left foot has been sore lately, so I may sub in some non-step low impact something. Maybe I will give rumble another go. Hope your little guy feels better. My friend's daughter had a 104 fever over the weekend and when the dad came home, she didn't even know who he was, she was so delirious from the fever! That poor mom -- on Friday she was in the class helping and happened to see her first grade son faint from heat exhaustion!

Vilma, hope you enjoyed the HIIT and kbells -- what did you do for HIIT? I played with the bells a little bit last night,and yes, just by that little bit I can tell I'm really going to feel them. I'm excited, but still nervous about learning the form.

I ended up doing the ME express premix this morning -- felt short on time and couldn't face MM!! And whoever told me (Chris or Kathy -- one of you, I think) that the glut raises that I saw on Janis Saffel's workout was not in L&G, you were right -- they are in ME! That torture was not cut for the express premix.

Hello again!!

I switched my workout...Im not a big fan of DM ( I'll probably get some Boo's on that..lol) So I did 4DS Cardio Power Premix instead. Still having a hard time because of this cold! The congestion makes me feel so out of shape!! Did abs from LIC and Week2 Day2 of the pushup challenge after.

Chris, to answer your question...I am currently doing FF's Endurance/Muscle Defining rotation..until the wedding on the 18th....and then....(drumroll please)...I'm going to take the plunge and do Cathe's Bootcamp rotation! My SO is really into hunting...so the season starts around then and I will have more time to kick it up notch!

Kathy- Have fun w/ Bootcamp, I love that workout!

Well I am done with my workout for today.

I definitely need a heavier kb so glad I ordered them .

Chris so sorry you didn't have a good night and about your son being so sick did you get him some popsicles?

Good for you for doing the original Imax man I have that in vhs and haven't done it in ages!

Iris we are entitled to change our minds ... heck I do it all the time lmao. I know how you felt about being congested please be careful so you don't get feeling sicker. I've been taking airborne lately weather it helps or not - the jury is still out but its worth a try.

Hottie that is so awww about your dh.

I have a 12kb bell coming in and dh is not worked out in ages so that'll be good to get him started, I truly hopes he works out with me. Its great yours is your workout buddy:)

Beth for my 20m HIIT I did a CC mish mosh of sorts ...Sean's v6 the steady to warm up which is roughly about 3-4 min then my 20 min or so was challenge 2 done twice followed by V6's cool down.

Then I did my own stretching to some Radiohead ;)

Well, I did 4DS Double Cardio! I did have to take a small break in between the LIS and HIS segment mostly because I so badly had to pee! LOL. Seriously, I was like telling my body, faster faster damnit! I have to go back! LOLOL. I really like the double cardio -- the LIS is maybe low impact enough to help with my blood circulation issues when I start, so much fun (though I don't care for that first blast) and then HIS capitalizes on the energy I've built up. I know they aren't Imaxes, but I was also hoping if my body could get used to this step-blast-recovery thing that maybe I could do the other Imaxes. What do ya'll think? Either way, I burned a lot of calories so I'm pretty happy with it.

Vilma - are you getting a 12lb kettlebell or a 12kg kettlebell? You guys are talking so much about the kettlebells that I started looking at the medicine ball kettlebell combo thing at shop.cathe.com (when DH saw that he was like, "COOL!" but then again, we get impressed easily when people combine simple ideas).

Chris - I don't know how you do any Imax with your toe like that. Your determination is inspiring. Stretch the calf out good though.

Beth - ME sounds scary to me!

Kathy - isn't bootcamp like one of the hardest workouts ever? Wowww...and as for DH working out -- I'm thinking your DH doesn't have my DH's belly. We have this joke about how we call our bellies our "fat babies" and maybe last year I was about 6 mos pregnant and he was 9 mos pregnant. Well, I've dropped down to about 1 or 2 mos pregnant and he's around 5 or 6. When I bring up his fat baby, he is SOOOO much more motivated to workout with us. (I realize this story makes us look like mean people, but we really do say it jokingly.)

But my hubby is really impressed with how well Cathe's weight workouts are -- he was just so happy last night when he was done 4DS upper body. Do you think your DH might be into that? That may be more testosterony.

Iris - one of my goals in the next week is to tackle 4DS bootcamp again. The Cardio Power premix looks so intense! Good for you for getting through it. And yes, I'm a very vulgar person. :) But it helps me keep up with my "man" fields (science and before that finance/stock trading).

I ordered a 8 kg = roughly an 18 pound kettlebell and a 12 kg= a 26 pound kettlebell.

I have the cute red Go-Fit 15 pound kettlebell sold at Target at the moment and I really feel I need a heavier one but plan on keeping the 15 # around.

Hottie, do you have any imaxes, and you just haven't done them yet? If you have one (or more), I say, just jump in and try it..... worse case you have to stop for a few moments and catch your breath -- that's certainly how I was when I first started doing them (and still, occasionally!!). The other step work will certainly help you, but there's nothing like jumping into the frying pan.

Vilma, I just read on vf that aos is having a free shipping sale -- surely that can't be on the bells, can it?! Well, I obviously haven't yet gone to the site to check it out, but it may be incentive to buy another of his workouts if I find I like the bells. Not that I'm going hog wild or anything.....

I'll have to do a cc HIIT someday -- never thought of doing it that way....

Today was RS and I just couldn’t finish it all today! I was only able to do 45 mins of it and I had to stop between combos too catch my breath. I guess the 1 week off really rested me, lol.

Randi: WTG on your workout! Don’t feel bad about your arms being bigger then that guy. Maybe he’s the one that felt bad because he’s was smaller, lol. He was just wishing he had them like yours. I think you look great! J

Vilma: WTG on your workout! Is Iron Man that movie? If so, let me know how it is so that I can add it to my Netflix Queue.

Chris: Oh no! I hope your son feels better soon! My DS woke up fine this morning but he did have it for 3 days. WTG on your workout! I hope your calf didn’t get hurt that much.

Iris: WTG on your workout today! I don’t think I’ve ever done Cardio Power Premix off of 4DS. I should check that one out!

Hottie: WTG on your Double Cardio workout! You know, today when I was doing RS, I had to pause the DVD to go pee, lol! I hate when that happens! I feel like that break ruins my workout. Lol.

Oh, I have them! :) Imax2 and Imax3. I had tried Imax2 some time back but got scared and thought it was out of m league frankly. It was weird how the first blast was so much harder than the second or third blast to me. I've told myself that I've really increased in fitness so I should go after it again...but then I get scared again! That's why I've been so pitbullish (w/o the lipstick!) about getting through LowMax actually. I know a lot of workout challenges are mental so I like to set up smaller ladder like goals to get up to big ones. I will at least get through half of an Imax before my bday (Dec 23) but I guess until then, I've been chicken.

I'm thinking on a weekend day where I have time to futz of tackling half of one through...maybe even of a 4 inch step (a suggestion from DH). But yeah...I'm chicken...:eek:
