Good morning!!
So yesterday was such a funny little mess. After I had decided to leave early, I realized I misplaced my keys and spent an hour running around my building to find them. Then I got to my car to discover a huge spider had decided to weave a magnificently huge web in the drivers seat (I keep my car really clean so it must have flown in when I had the door open)...oh I hate spiders (I know how useful they are, I still don't like them). Then I came home to find the house was over 80 degrees but I wanted to really workout so I cranked the AC. In the meantime, I tried to do LaundryMax but found we had no quarters for the machine so instead I did KitchenMax and I ate an early dinner. DH came home where I told HIM to do LaundryMax because he finally brought home the quarters and then I did Low Max, which I was very proud of finishing though to be truthful the last blast probably didn't look all that good because my legs were shot at that point. Then as I took the final round of LaundryMax, DH did 4DS Kickbox. So, a funny little day.
Ah, personal time..
Randi -- were you up because of the exam? I know how that gets. It took me some adjusting to get back into the school mentality and I only took a year off to work and pay for then fiance's grad school. But I think its awesome that you're going back. I hope you had a good workout and if not, I hope you had a good rest and exam. Oh and from the post yesterday, I work on molecular switches in aging. But currently, I work on wasting my time by letting everything get contaminated.
Chris -- is the toe getting better? I hope you can get your workouts in but please take care of the toe. I have to constantly get my fasting glucose so I'm used to not eating before bloodwork is drawn thing too. It can be annoying sometimes. I hope you can get everything.
Beth -- this is too funny: so as I was doing Low Max yesterday at one point I guess I muttered to myself, "how the hell does Beth do this?" probably when I thought the lactic acid was going to burst out of my quads. So at the end of the workout, DH asked me, "So, who's Beth and she can do that workout easily???" On another note, do you like butts and guts? I have to admit that I can barely do any of Cathe's core/abs work. I'm trying, and I'm going to make a more concerted effort but sometimes I think maybe I need to go to some beginning workouts for it (if anyone has any advice that would be great).
Kathy -- its so good to hear form you. Are you having fun with your inlaws? That's really cool that your inlaws have a TM and you can still get your workouts on.
Ivy -- I actually thought of you during C&W twice. The first time was during the second cardio combo where she asks us to do an insole on the step and then one to the back and followed by a rhythmic L. But when I came back to the step after the second insole, instead of starting to do a rhythmic L, I started to do a reverse hop turn like the third combo of BM2! I realized I was making a mistake halfway through the turn and I somehow managed to get right back into the tempo with some weird movement (I imagine I looked very funny), but I laughed at myself. As for buttercup -- I was HOPING that song would get into my head because I have that Ludo song "Love me Dead" stuck in my head for the last day or two. It didn't replace it. :-(
So, my husband and I are trying to wake up earlier so we can workout before we go to work and we made some headway in that we sorta woke up but stayed in bed. Little by little. I'm going to head off to the school gym after I take care of some lab stuff and then I'm back at the bench for several hours straight. Probably just a nice long low intensity workout. My hope is to do 4DS HIS tonight but we'll see.
I hope all of you have a good day and
Joanne, we're all thinking about you.
