Happy Fall All!

Good Monday morning Hellos to All!

I am going to attempt something as I can't take not being able to workout.

Not sure what I'll be doing yet but I'm going to take it easy and see how my body responds. I honestly hope my body doesn't betray me I don't like feeling like I can't complete a workout that I usually kick butt in with extra energy. :(

At the moment I still have slight body ache & nausea still - this is going on too long and I'm done being sick.

I've not canceled my STS order yet but I'm getting quite impatient now plus the way my body has been acting I am even wondering if I can keep up.

I also have a rotation by some VF's who did an STS like rotation for 15 weeks this past spring using Cathe's STS format descriptions with Cathe's other weight workouts.

Most had good results during meso cycle 1 but found difficultly with the 2nd & 3rd cycle feeling their clothes getting snug and such. They did gain much endurance and strength though, but not much weight loss although some small increments of inches were lost.

I may end up following that suedo STS like rotation and see when I get back to feeling like myself again . STS has already been paid for but honestly I'm just tried of waiting already as the waiting has allowed me to doubt what I want the program to do for me now

I was feeling restless and just did not get that restful sleep I had hoped for like I had the night before :(

I hope to BBL and 'chat ' with you all

Hi Vilma, and everyone! I love fall! I guess most people do. Vilma, I hope you feel better! It has gone on too long!

I'm checking in with 70 minutes of yoga, all concentrated on the hips and lower body, so I'm feeling terrific! It was just what I needed and I think a good way to start off a new tough week of workouts. Last week of FF's leg torture, er, I mean blast.

I'm a little late this morning..... gotta run . Have a great day!

Hi Vilma and Beth

Vilma I hope you feel better soon. How what your workout?

Beth sound like a good yoga routine.

I'm checking in with KPC. LOVE that one. I didn't workout at all this weekend. Just didn't feel like it.:( Honestly I didn't want to do Imax 3. I know I could have done something else but I didn't. I think I needed the rest day.

BBL

Lori

Good morning all.

Vilma, take it easy...I'm a big fan of doing a little exercise when you're sick to help detox but don't push it. I'm convinced doing LIS on Saturday made me better.

Beth, that sounds like a great yoga workout. I really have to be better about incorporating flexibility training in my routines.

Lori, I totally understand how you felt. I get that way a lot lately, and I'm sure I would have been more like that with Imax3. I don't have KPC -- how does that rate with KM and 4DS Kickbox as things to compare to?

Originally, I had planned to come in later to work to do LIC but I wanted to spend more time with my hubby so we went into work together. I'm going to head off to the gym for my long but low intensity workouts and then just get paperwork and benchwork done through the day. I'm trying to help DH with a workout rotation so on tap in the evening is 4DS Kickbox cardio and a segment of coremax. We'll see how tired he is though. I don't want to do too much during the day because I much more likely to get him to workout if I do it with him.

BBL...just futzing around for the next 30 minutes before heading out to the gym.

Good Afternoon girls!!!

It’s been a while since I’ve checked-in. This weekend has been so busy. We went to the beach, and so much more. I must say that this week is my last week for the Cardio Blast Rotation and I think my body has shut down to workouts!!! I have not been in the mood to workout and I LOVE to workout, so today I tried to do a cardio workout (BM2 my FAVORITE) and I just couldn’t keep going. I think my body needs a week of rest. So I think what I will be doing is light workouts like Yoga, Pilates just stuff like that. I can tell my body needs the rest because I’m an exerciseholic and this is not like me to not want to workout. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!! This week is going to be crazy busy for me with appointments, work, MOPS, etc. I can’t wait till October when FINALLY (keep my fingers crossed, lol) I have nothing on schedule except work and an eye exam.

Vilma: I’m sorry to hear you are still feeling sick. I hope you get better really soon. How long has it been now that you’ve been sick? Feel better soon!

Beth: WTG on that 70 min Yoga!! I’ve never done Yoga that last more than 35 mins, lol. I love fall too!!! I’m so excited it’s this time of the year! Yay!!

Lori: WTG on KPC.

Hottie: Have fun with your workout! Is your DH also a scientist like you?

I hope you all had workouts, and for those who haven’t gotten their workouts in yet, I hope you have a great workout! I’ll try to check back in later before the kids go to sleep tonight. I missed you all!!

BBL if I can

Hi Everyone!!

It was a Loooooong weekend at work for me. It was actually kind of slower at work, and it made for some hard nights trying to stay awake. I sat in a chair this morning, and kept dozing on & off , you know the dozing where your head keeps snapping side to side!
198.gif
Yuck. And the 2 , 12 hour shifts on my feet really took a toll on my toe. It friggin HURTS today.
184.gif
Makes me mad, because I really want it to be better.

This was also the weekend DH had to work Sunday night as well, so I'm up with only a few hours sleep doing Monday "chores" and taking care of the boys , which he usually takes care of.

Maybe that's why I'm in a shitty mood. I'm not sure.

I didn't feel like working out so much. SCheduled workout was DRILL MAX: Total Body Premix. I did it. Well , some of it, but I wasn't into it. I didn't feel so challenged on a lot of the moves, and i could NOT do any sort of lunge (killed my toe). Supposed to do Abs from KPC, but I don't feel like it right now.

I'm just in a grumpy-ass mood.

And before my workout , my boss called to say that the Clinical Advancement Packet I passed in was missing a bunch of papers, and I have to have them in by Wednesday or she can't accept them. FACK!

So anyways...

Vilma: I'm really on the fence about STS. Everyone on the thread in OD seems thrilled that it will be out for Christmas. I'm like "What??? Not til Christmas? WTF??" I'm kind of disgusted with all of it. But I'm soooo afraid I'll regret cancelling my order if I do it. In the meantime, I'll probably get and do ChaLEAN Extreme when it comes out. Not to sound like a broken record, but you've been feeling so sick WAY too long. You really should see a doctor. Did the back pain go away? Take care of you!!!

Beth: Yoga sound wonderful! Good choice. And Happy Fall! I would like Fall more if I could be RUNNING!!!!

Lori: IMAX3 would have certainly thrown me towards not working out too. But because of my foot. I miss it!! Good job on KPC!

Hottie: Sounds like good choices today for workouts... !!!

Ivy: Your weekend sounds like it was fun! Yeah, you really have been working out hard the last 2 rotations. I think esp. the Leg Blast one you did. thrown right into this intense one. A week of "rest" sounds like it's warranted!

I'm off to the showers, and then to taxi my boys to CCD (their 1st day today) and then home to slave in the kitchen! ..... I'm so not happy! I need to snap OUT of it!!

BBL...

Poor Chris, you are definitely not yourself today! I hope you can get a nap in or something. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day! That's a really tough schedule you have on the weekends!!

Ivy, definitely take a break -- I'm also feeling on the verge of over-training, but like I said, the yoga this morning helped quite a bit. So, maybe even just a few days of that kind of thing for you.

Hottie, it seems like you work out twice a day on a regular basis -- is that correct? I don't know how you do it. On an unrelated topic, last night my husband wanted to stretch, so we started doing some yoga together, and my 7 year old, who had been in bed, came out and he plopped himself right between us and did the stretches too. It was so cute, but really fun to even just stretch with my husband. Made me think of you and your hubby doing all the cathe stuff together.

Sorry but my mood sucks and it shows bah humbug!

Hah!

Well no workout for me but its because I've been dealing with shitheads for brains today looking for a bodyshop for my car to get fixed at.

My dh didn't care for the place our insurance told us to go and its a good thing we went to check out the place before our appointment with the adjustor as my dh said the guy was a royal d!ck as in attitude.

Oy what a headache! While I was out getting oldest DD from campus DH settled on some place and they are bringing me a rental later on to the house and taking Sally to get insurance person to sign off to start repairs.

I have no idea but being a big city girl I trust no one and meh.... :(

No sooner did I get done with posting this morning I had to get ready and jump in my car and drive the kids to school well what usually takes me 30 min. took over an hour since I couldn't go faster then 40mph. We live out in the country and the schools are really far away and either side on the roads you see tobacco , soy or cotton fields - corn has already been harvested. So I had loads of folks pass me on the roads today I did have my hazard lights on as a courtesy to let people now I was going as fast as I could. Gods I can't wait to move already but we decided to hold off until ds is done with HS bah!

I'm so tired with driving around and being a tag team with dh for a body shop.

I decided I'll forgo another day to workout and see what tomoorw brings I want a big ol bag of Dove chocolates & a big ol bottle of wine (granted I have no chocolates) and watch my dvr'd recording of True Blood and just veg & sulk. I'm in a sour mood right about now.

Actually I feel better than this morning as far as the sickies goes so thats good news. :D

This may be TMI but my saliva glands are producing so much spit lately that it can be one reason why I'm always so nauseous I can't even chew gum without spitting it out soon after - yuck!

My back is behaving today so no motrin or heating pad yay! lol

Okay enough BS from me LMAO I miss using my fun smilies but I'm in no mood yet for them.

Beth that yoga sounds divine what was the name of it as I feel I could incorporate some of that here. Did you here from SNM yet? I couldn't sleep last night due to that darned fence over STS. Do you feel like you felt a weight off your shoulders when you cancelled?

Lori KPC is one of my favorites and one when I let go... I get to feeling fierce . Good job on your decision to take a rest day if you felt that way better you passed on it Imax3 is not as fun as Imax2 IMHO

Hottie its always so nice to here that your dh is your training partner too I'm sure that makes it so nice for you. Glad to hear your feeling better.

Ivy I haven't worked out since the middle of last week and its been about 1 1/2 weeks I've been sick but it's partly my fault cause I should've rested instead of pushing through my workouts and now I'm taking longer to recover from the crud. Now I know better for next time to just let my body do its job of healing without putting the added stress of hardcore training that I like to do to myself.

Chris I know what you mean about the Christmas release I was like oh great big frackin deal - SNM has had my money close to a year with no product in my hands yet.

I knew about the wait but damn at least give us some more info and updates or just tell us it was going to be close to a year before we get our paid product.

My dh told me to just stop harping about it here he's so tired of hearing me flap about it and said well its paid for so just forget about it until you get it.

I was ready to cancel Saturday morning but DH told me to not do it as he knows I was getting ready for it.

Since I've been sick I have been having an internal fight with myself if I should just cancel or not. I swear this is the last time I'll preorder anything like this again esp with the cost Harumph!

I'm still on the fence after all this time Arghh! It's so frustrating when I think about it - It BETTER be worth all the waiting and cost if not I will be so pissed off.

Oy that came out as a vent so I'll stop here.

My mood has not been very nice lately so sorry guys.

Maybe I DO need to open that bottle of wine and veg with the tv.

Chris: I'm sorry you're not feeling happy today! I hope that you are able to find/get all the missing papers from your Clinical Advancement package. I hope you feel better soon. I agree, the 2 rotations have been a tough one. I might even take 2 weeks off, depends how I feel in a week from now.

Beth: I'm going to have to see if I can just do Yoga in the nights before I go to bed because my DS is not wanting to take anymore naps so it will be hard to do Yoga while he's awake.

HI ladies..

Just finished with step, jump & pump. It felt good to workout with my weights in my own room...NOt much else going on. Hanging around the house today. The kids are a little under the weather with the sniffles..I am hoping it goes away without a dr visit...

Vilma: I hate dealing with fix it places!!! I am ready to get STS too. But, I am being patient because I know I will be getting 41 DVDs when they come. So, it will keep me busy when they come. I am going to veg with the tv too. I love those Dove dark chocolate pieces..YUMMY!!!!

Beth: What a great relaxing workout day for you. I love stretch/yoga days. I feel so much better later!!

Lori: I did KPC and Saturday. I moved it around because I could do that one at my inlaws with equipment. I did the ab part without the stability ball since I didn't have one..I think I will be doing Imax 3 tomorrow or Rhythmic Step.

Hottie: Glad you are better. Have a great workout!

Ivy: My body gets that way too sometimes. I think it is a great idea to do light workouts for a few days. Your body will recover nicely..

Chris: Sorry to see you are having a rough day. I hope it gets better. Relax and take a nice nap when you can...My kids have CCD on Wednesday's this year. We liked it so much more when it was Sunday after mass. I am sending you some happy vibes~~~~~~Feel better soon!!!

Well, most of you are probably done your days, but since I have some time, I'll give ya'll personals...

Vilma -- I am so sorry for that day you're having! The car ride must have been aggravating. I got stuck on the 10 freeway going 10mi/hr because of an accident of sometime but at least EVERYONE was stuck. I hope tomorrow will be better.

Chris -- I really hope your day gets better. Are there any shoes you can get for your toe that might make it better? Man, it sounds like everything hit you.

Kathy -- glad you're back. I know how you feel about working out in your own space. IT'S HOME!

Beth -- I can only do two workouts in a day if I plan accordingly, but don't think its two Cathe workouts. This actually has been a good strategy for me. I like to make sure I get some burn in before I come home because depending on the day I have, I can be so exhausted when I come home that I can't workout. This is usually dependent on the type of lab work I do. If its the kind of day where I'm standing and running from the cold room in and out all day -- two workouts won't happen. But as long as I keep it low intensity, I have enough in my reserve that after being replenished by dinner, I can do something. Frankly, if I don't plan, I get my BBS (broken butt syndrome). :) But seriously, to some of you, my low intensity workout probably isn't anything. I have my HRM on and I make sure I never really go over 60-65% and its more like 50%. That's supposed to burn more "fat" calories percentage wise too. But I think its nice...no matter what I at least moved a little you know? I take whatever victories that I can.

Ivy -- OMG I laughed out loud when I saw what you wrote. My husband is NOT a scientist. AT ALL. AT ALL. LOLOLOL. He did go to Caltech with me (actually before me), and he was trained as a engineer, not a scientist, for 3.5 years before he decided that he couldn't stand engineers so he dropped it, got a degree in Lit and then went to grad school for Journalism. But its funny -- he knows enough about science to think he can be useful for certain experiments but not enough to aggravate you because you realize he's useless for experiments. LOL.

Unevental day for the most part. The student I was "mentoring" and I decided that its not a good idea for her to take on research with her current schedule. I'm happy that she decided this earlier instead of later because it was getting aggravating trying to think of how she could do experiments when I hadn't seen her for a week. I also bought myself some crocs online...I'm very excited to see if its really as comfortable as everyone says it is. Yep, pretty boring.
