Another Late start for me --

Hellos to all

I have a run to do later on if I can get it done.

I have our youngest here at home today since her asthma has flared up so she's getting a breathing treatment as I type.

Sorry I seem to be out of the loop but I hope all are doing fine.

My DH is also doing jury duty this week so I didn't get much sleep last night due to his snoring and his taking off his CPAP mask - oy!

I am monitoring my lil one so I have no idea when I'll get my run in today hopefully before non

Don't feel bad Vilma I have been out of the loop as well!! How is everyone? Today is HSTA I have been doing the roatation when this dvd first came out and I am really having alot of problems with my knees. Do you think its from all the leg presses?

: Sounds like you're having quite a week! I hope your daughter does better, asthma can be so scary! Is it allergies that causes it? I'm , of course, green with envy of your run....

Kathy: Okay, well I'm jealous of YOUR workouts planned too, but I CAN do the stretch at least.

My muscles are SOOOOOO sore, last night and this morning, I'm really having major DOMS from this change up in workouts or something. My upper body is achey as can be, and my lower body/buttocks are talking back to me every time I take a step. I think a stretch is warranted today...

I'm struggling with trying some cardio today. I really REALLY want to BADLY, but my toe is still messed up. I can't bear full weight on it yet. So my question is whether to do a bike ride (can I without a shoe on? with a flip flop?) or maybe try Step Blast, without the step, VERY modified, and just try to work up a sweat. Even for 30 minutes. I WANT MY CARDIO, damnit!!!

Otherwise, it's kind of a busy day. Hubby and I are going to go shopping, for JAKE's birthday (last of Sept. birthday boys), plus supplies, decorations, etc for the bday party on Saturday!! Did I tell you we're getting the boys a big huge jousting ring? It's gonna be COOL!

Enough "playing"... gotta get showered...
 
Good morning! I did drill max ultra cardio this morning -- I hate to say it because I love drill max so much, but I didn't really like it. All that repitition was boring to me. I skipped the second time through on the ball drill because I was bored, and the second time through on the very last drill because my knees were starting to complain and I knew I needed cool down time anyway, so I just cooled down during it. I ended up doing a bunch of extra stretching and some foam rollering because I'm really sore! MM after a light week causes major doms, it turns out. :)

Chris, a jousting ring? ! Tell us more. :) I think step blast sounds too ambitious for your toe, personally, even without the step. I know it must be frustrating, but healing sooner is better, no?

I want to go back to bed, but of course that's not an option.....

I am back from my walk/run we did 4 miles. My friend has a lot of aches and pains so we really didn't run as much as I hoped for.:(.

Chris where did the sun go??? After the day we had yesterday it just doesn't seem fair. I agree with Beth I think step blast is a little too much. You might just want to take rest today. You've been doing great with your work out. Maybe next week you can try to ride your bike. You are going shopping with DH so isn't like you are sitting on your butt eating bon bons (or FLUFF) all day. Right?

Hi ladies. I've been out of the loop for a few days, too. My phone, TV, and internet are all out at home for the second time in five days - they better fix it right this time! :(

Chris, it sounds like you've been doing great with your workouts, even with the toe. Wow, your soreness proves that changing things up really works! I agree, Step Blast might be too ambitious. You don't want to do anything to prolong the healing. If you can manage the bike ride, that would be great.

Lori, good job on the run/walk. And Circuit Max? Wow! You're all set for today!

Beth, I agree, the Drill Max cardio twice is a bit too repetitive. Last time it was on the rotation I subbed something else where I only did it once with cardio from LIC, I think. I can't bear to do that drill with the ball more than once! MM always seems to make me sore, no matter what I've been doing.

Lisa, last week my knees were bothering me, too. I think the leg presses might contribute to it, or at least probably aren't a good idea to keep doing if your knees are sore. I think I was doing too much step and high impact. They're better this week, but mine are 46 years old, so I have to baby them a bit! ;)

Let's see, my workouts since I was here last....Saturday was a rest day, Sunday was Amy's Hi/Lo Knockout (sub for KPC, just needed something different), yesterday was Power Hour and today was Tracey's High Intensity Step Mix2 (subbed for Step Blast). I was determined to finish Tracey's since last time I pooped out before it was over. I finished all 70 minutes of cardio this time. It's a fun workout.

Just a quick check in have to go to the Gyno:( Finished up my 4 week GS rotation with CM3 and GS Legs. tomorrow is my rest day then I will start up a week of endurance/totalbody/circuits:)

Hi Lori: Yes, where the heck did the sun go today? It's miserable out here. But I hear it's back tomorrow, so I'm ok with one "inside" day. Good thing you got your walk in earlier! AND CM! That's fantastic! We didn't end up going shopping today. We started out, but it started DOWNPOURING , so we couldnt' see, with HUGE puddles in the road. And then there was a big accident. So we turned around. We'll try again tomorrow. Oh and let me tell you, I thought of Fluff today on more than one occasion (idol hands and minds!!) , but did NOT indulge!!

Beth: Yeah, DM Ultra Cardio is crazy! And once is quite enough on the drills for me too.

Joanne: Oh crap on your phone/internet being out!! I hate when that happens! I guess I'm doing good if I'm getting DOMS, right? But the scale is also UP 3 lbs, and that drives me batty! You've been getting in some GREAT workouts though! Need I tell you, I'm jealous?

Randi: Congrats on finishing GS rotation! Did you notice any change or see any results (though you don't look like you NEED any change!!!). Oh, yeah, the gyno. I made my appt today. Not til November !!! Phsewww!

So what did I do? *sigh*. I did an irritating, but LIGHT workout today. I pulled out a very low impact, very slow moving "Tamilee Webb: Fit to the Hits". It's actually kind of fun and dancy, but Tamilee is annoying as all heck!!! . You guys are right, the Step Blast, even without the Step, would have been too much. I then did something I LIKED: Stretch Max with the band. THAT was nice.

I almost got irritated enough to eat "CRAP" (aka FLUFF), but didn't. Instead, my guys came home from school, and I had tea with my 9 year old (He loves that Cinnamon Apple Spice tea! Crazy boy!).

I'm also excited about a new recipe for supper: Polenta Pizza. I'll post it over in the recipes, if anyone's interested (Core followers!?)

Yeah I did see some more definition getting more veinage:) but need to switch it up:) Everything seemed fine at the gyno. I also applied at a community college to go back to school. I'm 28 and Finally ready! I went to work in mental health as an RN eventually:)
 
Hi ladies

I didn't workout today because I'm kind of sick today. I think I'm getting a cold or something. I did work today, but had no energy at all. I went to my cardiologist appointment and they said I need to do a stress test and an ultra sound so we'll see. So far from what the doc said, there is nothing wrong. I don't have time for personals but I wanted to drop by and say Hi, and I hope you all had great workouts!! OHH!!! I lost 1/2 inch off my hips!! WOOHOO!!! So happy about that. I hope I feel much better tomorrow because tomorrow it's supposed to be Imax2 :D Take care ladies! I'll bb tomorrow (Thank God I have nothing to do tomorrow, but stay home).
