Second worst hangover of my life............

..............today. So bad, in fact, I had to call off work. Oh gosh, how horrible of me!!! Hey, I didn't LIE. It is a horrible migraine headace! Sorry, but with exceptional nausea and a migraine headache that bangs at the first hint of light I am NOT suffering through a horrid night in the ER!!

It is getting better though, thank goodness. I had two cans of chicken soup. Didn't seem like I drank enough to have such a nasty hangover, but oh well. Note to self: Never drink again the night before a 12 hour work shift. Actually, right now it is more like, Note to self: NEVER DRINK AGAIN. I am officially reminded of how bloated and crappy I feel after a night of indulgence. YUCK!!!

Back to workouts tomorrow. Turbo Jam for the first time! :)

I do remember my last nasty one. July 23 1989. Of course mine included hurling...x( almost felt like body parts were coming out....I did learn my lesson. I usually ate a bag of potato chips and drank pepsi whenever I had a hangover. Hope you feel better Janice....:)...Carole

It's been 2 years since I drank any alcohol. It's just not worth the crappy feeling that comes the following day.

Ibuprofen, a can of Coke and lots of water. My DH swears by it. Hope you're feeling better soon,

Last time I had any alcohol was about 1992 - and I swore it off because of how it made me feel (not that I ever drank much anyway) - sleepy and depressed. I can't even drink wine coolers, I have such a low tolerance for alcohol. Getting sick is NOT fun - I don't know why anyone would drink to excess knowing they will get sick.
Just Do It! :)

I have had more than my share of fun drunken nights followed by the nasty hang-overs the next morning...some included hurling, some did not. Oh well, such is life....we live and we learn and I would not trade it for anything...it's part of growing up!:)

Now when I drink I play it cool most of the time with just 2 or 3 at most...no nasty reprocussions and I still get to enjoy my fave beer or wine! CHEERS! :+

Hope you feel better, Janice!:)

Go to the gym and sit in the steam room. The WET steam room, it will flush all those toxins out. Believe me, back in my "party girl" days, this was the ONE thing that worked. Not a pick me up, but a take me to the steam room....

Hope this helps...
