......AND WHAT A BUNCH OF HOTTIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:9 :9 :9

MMMMMMmmmmmmmm.....Leonardo...whom I was never really that excited about, even after Titanic, has really come into his own as far as acting goes..he is a great actor now, full of dimension! Matt Damon, well, is Matt Damon. He was pretty good in this movie, displaying his usual "Bourne Identity" sexiness. Mark Wahlberg???? Don't even get me started with him....sooooo HOT and really added some spunk to this movie! And last, but most certainly not least, good ol' Jack! If there is ever an actor who should win the "Best Male Actor EVER" Award, it is Mr. Jack Nicholson! He just gives me chills!

This movie was great but I did still long for the Hollywood ending. Kinda sad in the end, but great action, acting, music, everything! Well worth the money!

And that is my opinion!:D }(

RE: Saw

Janice,

DH and I saw this last week and I completely agree!!!!:p :7 :p :7

Leo is a total hottie in this and I'm still reeling over the ending! I also agree about Jack - he is pretty great!

LOVED THIS MOVIE!!!!:7

ETA: Can't wait to get the soundtrack! Loved that "Irish" rap song they kept playing!:p

RE: Saw

Several hotties. Love Leonardo. Jack Nicholson looked grimy and really needs a haircut but his acting was outstanding, as usual. Mark Whalberg's character cracked me up!

Interesting story and the plot gets thicker and thicker. I really had to pay attention to unravel what was going on. Did not expect what happened towards the end when the elevator door opened! Was glad about what happened to Matt Damon's character.

Very violent, bloody and long. Movie is not for the queezy. I would have liked the movie more if it wasn't so drawn out. Almost three hours...couldn't believe it. But I felt the same way about "Streets of New York".

I highly recommend it if you don't mind the violence. I don't have a problem with it but I know some people do.

And that's my opinion :)

RE: Saw

Leonardo has ALWAYS been a good actor - when he was a kid, he was in "What's Eating Gilbert Grape," and he was unbelievable!

And what can we say about Jack Nicholson - one of the best.

RE: Saw

Basically a mob/crime drama, with a police "rat" in the mob and a mob "rat" in the police (Leo and Matt). I thought it was a great story and superb acting from all parties. Very entertaining, but lots of violence, foul language, blood, etc. Also long, I think 2 1/2 hours.

RE: Saw

Okay, I had to search out this thread because I saw this movie this afternoon and IT WAS BLOODY BRILLIANT. It was so tense, I was on the edge of my seat because you just had no clue what was going on or who was going to be found out. And the ending blew my mind!

Wow! I'm so glad I went and saw this. All the performances were amazing and oh, how I love character development. You get so little of it these days, but this movie has it in spades.

Bravo Mr. Scorsese.:)

RE: Saw

I agree...I just saw this movie yesterday and it was amazing! Jack Nicholson will probably most definitely get an Oscar...I wouldn't be surprised if there were other nominations (Leonardo, Matt) as well...everybody in the movie was just fantastic! Leonardo really HAS come into his own...both in the acting department and in the looks department! lol I really liked that Irish rap song they kept playing too! :) Noticed there were lots of Patsy Cline songs interspersed in there as well. So glad I saw this one...it IS long but I didn't even really notice. :)

RE: Saw

Is this the one that is a remake of Hong Kong's 'Infernal Affairs'? I loved 'Infernal Affairs', big Andy Lau and Tony Leung fan here. :)

I was thinking about checking this one out, but the orginal is usually the better; not always though. :)

RE: Saw

DeeDee, yes it is, and from all the reviews I've read, this is one of those movies that is at least as good as the original.

RE: Saw

ha ha, the song that was screaming something like "I have no legs" or "I lost my legs". Is that what it was saying??? I thought it was metal??

Yeah, it is metal....I only focused on small parts of it during the movie. I just listened to clips on iTunes - the album is available for download there, but not for regular release until Nov. 7. Lots of great songs! I will definitely purchase this one!
