~*~*~Saturday Melters~*~*~

Hey everyone.

Been trying to get organized for the RT. Holy crap. What a pain in the arse. I hate trying to figure out what clothes to take and wear and what I'll need. I volunteered to have a roommate as well, and now am nervous about that too. I'm sure it will be fine, but . . .

I am really trying to make sure I can just take a carry-on. I guess I can check it on the return trip. Maybe I will try to do that. I just don't want to take too many clothes and then it seems like you never use everything anyway.

Shelley - glad you had a good time. Sorry you ate crap. We did that yesterday too.

Kristi - I really appreciate the tips you e-mailed. They will definitely help.

Leanne - Hope you had fun at your bead classes.

Tneah - too bad on the crappy salad.

Okay, my plan for this week. Monday and Wednesday - Lauren KB, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday during lunch CC on the elliptical. Tuesday morning, CC on my treadmill. They Thursday I leave on the 7 a.m. flight and get to Philly at 1:45 p.m.

Leanne and Kara what time are your flights leaving on Sunday. Maybe we can share a Rapid Rover or something. My plane leaves around 4. Let me know.

Pegsters, hey have you considered maybe mailing your suitcase to the hotel you are staying at? If you send it via US postal its a flat rate. But then you will be assured it will get there! I did that when we went to Florida, so glad I did too. Your workout for the week looks awesome.

Shelley, ahhh..well at least you had one day to enjoy the sun right? I decided life is too short not to enjoy laying out a bit--I was totally against any sun exposure but I love being tan...climb on board the clean eats train...*toot-toot*...it ain't gonna be easy, but it can be done, I just need to watch that little stuff I have gotten into lately..OK, whats up with Chris??

Kristi, your salad sounded much better than mine! Mine was these gross funny grassy greens with strawberries, blue cheese, walnuts and raspberry vinegarette...I know some of you might have loved it, but I hated it and took one bite, that was it, yukkers. Not fond of that particular combo.
My salads usually consist of romaine, arugula, tuna fish, broccoli, asparagus, carrots, and whatever other veggie I have laying around with light dressing on the side.

Well, DH is a grouchy pants today, he is anxious about the boat arriving this week, but sheesh, take it out on me why don't cha?:confused:
He has decided to try Atkins...he loves meat so I am supporting him on this one, he wants to lose at least 20 pounds and I know he can do it. Sigh. I have no idea what men are like on a diet, but if its anything like I am, oh dear.

Peggie -- if you can do that, it would make your flight lots easier. If you don't do that, don't be a tough gal heaving your bag in and out of the overhead bin like it weighs nothing. My wrist still hurts from doing that.:confused:
