Hey, who let in the riff raff?! LOL! It's always great to see you chime in on a thread, Carole. Thank you for the words of encouragement

Wendy's kicking butt with her running, and all of her other fitness addictions. If the girl doesn't sit still for a minute, Joey will never get himself a baby sister
I started running in June, when Cathe told me to do it in one of her rotations. We moved to a new neighbourhood in early May, and the sidewalks/trails here are ideal for running. That helps alot. I happily surprised myself by running 45 minutes (as per HER instructions) without needing to stop. By the end, though, my left knee was ready to give out. I don't know what's up with that thing. It's good as gold until about 35min, then it starts to whinge and complain. When I'm not running, I don't hear a peep from it.
I agree - running can indeed be addicting. I ran last Saturday morning, and was quite disappointed when my knee told me to quit. I don't see myself ever doing the long distance runs you do, but it is a fun alternative to add to my cardio options. I'm especially looking forward to doing some running during the fall. The temperature must agree with me, because I have such great runs at this time of year.
I may do the Race for the Cure in September. What runs are on your roster?
Cheers,
Sandra
