S&H Series......

This post should really be under "Open Discussion", but I wanted Cathe to hear my opinion so I posted here :)

I cannot find the words to express how wonderful a series S&H is! It gives the user an opportunity to really "check" their form and focus on maintaining correct form and posture, something that we should be focused on regardless, but I admit that I learned I wasn't REALLY using correct form for static lunges until I did S&H Legs/Shoulders! The slower pace, plus Cathe's form pointers, allowed me for the first time to truly "feel" for what I should have been when doing her other series. Now thanks to S&H, I'll know which muscle should be effected by which exercise, and I'll be able to carry this knowledge over into my other workouts.
Truly an outstanding series, and although I think most of us think of it as a workout for someone already acquainted with Cathe, I'm now re-thinking that and thinking this may be a wonderful series for someone new to weights as it will teach them correct form in the beginning, rather than learning poor technique and trying to improve it later. It is a tough workout, but I feel I've truly accomplished something when I'm done, and I love the information about which muscle groups are working, etc., as it helps me learn how what I am doing effects my body.
