S & H, PS, or CTX?

Ok, which of these series will give me the best results for muscle growth and fat loss? Assuming that with the PS and SH series I would add 3 days of 1 hr cardio and 2 days of 30 mins cardio (no cardio on leg day). If it matters, I have been doing sort of a hodgepodge of workouts, but always a pretty even mixture of cardio and weights, 6 days a week. I've been floundering bigtime on what to do as far as a rotation goes. I'm looking for something to do for the next 3 wks or so.

HI Cbelle I just read on a different forum that Beth said she did the PUre Strength leg workout 3 times a week and noc ardio at all and no special diet and went from a size 8 to a 6 in 3 weeks I e-mailed her I believe it is in the Video and DVd forum I asked what else she did Should have asked how old she is too but kinda thought that maybe too nosey! I did the workout today and it sure is a good one I do tend to over do the cardio and lately I have been really concentrating on the weights they say they really help get the fat off especially the older we get I am 42 and it is harder then when 22 but not impossible!Pure strength is supposedly more strength and less endurance then Cathes other videos so it should really build muscles ok
Good luck let me know what you decide

I'd go with Pure Strength. This series has helped me a lot in getting stronger and building muscle. I'd go with a strength training series than an aerobics series because the more muscle you have the more fuel your body burns even while at rest. Slow & Heavy is a different kind of strength training program. I use it when I hit fitness plateaus. It requires a lot of concentration and commitment but the results are worth it. I was able to add 5 more pounds to my bench press weight after only two rounds of S&H. This doesn't mean that the CTX series won't work for you. I've heard a lot of great things about it. I'd like to get the CTX DVD one of these days to add variety to the few cardio sessions I do in a week. But CTX has more cardio in it than weight training, and if you're looking to grow muscle, Pure Strength is it. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the advice. Actually, what I Think I've decided is to go with the CTX series strictly because I've been practically having panic attacks lately trying to decide what's best for workouts and diet and I'm hoping to ease up on this. CTX series is all laid out perfectly for me and my body could probably use a little easing up on the intensity and length of my workouts. I'll only be doing this until my BB DVDs get here and then I'll be doing htose. Hopefully not too much longer! In conjunction with the CTX series I'm also trying to ease up on my diet obsession....we'll see what happens! Thanks!
