Oh man I am so excited. I took up running several months ago. Since then I put PLB away and did L&G and workout #5 on Timesaver for my lower body. I thought maybe working with heavier weights would impact my running negatively. Well last night I thought, I'll take out that baby and see how it goes. I actually was going to go down 5lbs on the weight afraid that since I hadn't done this workout in months that it would be hard to get back into. Anyway I thought na, and went to my last weight amount 30, 35, & 40 lbs. Well I was worked out but not fatigued. The whole workout I kept thinking ok, I'm gonna feel it soon. But I never got that old "argh, I can't do another" kinda burn. I am so excited, I'm gonna up to 35, 40 & 45 lbs next time, and I know I'll be able to do it. Even today the next day I don't feel that old "oohhhh I hate Cathe some much feeling }( ". Anyway I just wanted to share. Has anyone else who runs noticed that your muscles have gotten stronger because of it? I am so excited. I thought running would just tone me, not make my muscles ready for the next level!!!
