Rotator Cuff ?

Anyone ever had a problem with this? I have been at a complete standstill for 5 weeks now. MRI on Thursday. If you had surgery how long was your recovery and did it help?

Also - subluxation (partial dislocation) may also be the problem. I have heard that they put you under and manipulate it back. Anyone ever had this done.

Thanks for any and all posts.

Feeling very "soft" and frustrated.

Dawn,

A rotator cuff can take a long time to heal. You need to follow the advice of your Doctor because if you dont and you do activities that you shouldnt, then it will take alot longer for your recovery. I havent had a torn rotator cuff or subluxation .But I am a physical therapist assistant, I mainly work in askilled nursing environment . As you know a torn rotator cuff injury is very painful and try to rest and ice it until your results come back. Goodluck!!
